Lake Gibson Senior High School
Class of 1986
FAQ
As classmates ask questions we will post them here so that everyone has the benefit of the frequently asked questions. Feel free to contact the reunion committee if you have questions that are not answered on this page.
Q. What is the class reunion dress code? Can I wear jeans or shorts?
A. The dress code for our reunion is casual. Feel free to wear your favorite jeans or shorts or if you are more comfortable in your favorite "dressy-casual" party dress by all means wear it! Bottom line is we want everyone to be comfortable and feel welcome. We don't care what you wear we just want you there!
Q. I should have graduated with the class of 1986 but didn't (moved away, dropped out, transferred to another school etc.) may I still attend the 30th reunion?
A. Yes!
Q. I have particular needs related to accessibility. What should I do?
A. Please contact reunion coordinator Kim Newberry Patton by email at lakegibson1986@gmail.com or by phone at 650-504-2214 and she will address your needs.
Q. I have dietary restrictions and/or allergies. What should I do?
A. Please contact reunion coordinator Kim NewberryPatton by email at lakegibson1986@gmail.com or by phone at 650-504-2214 so that she may make arrangements with our caterer and bartenders.
Q. Are drinks included in admission price?
A. No. Drinks are available for purchase at the cash bar.
Q. How was the reunion price determined?
A. The price for reunion tickets was determined by more than the cost of the event venue, menu selection, bartenders, and entertainment. The additional costs involved include gratuities, website domain, name tags, liability insurance and general overhead.
Q. What is the Missing Classmates List?
A. Missing Classmates are those alumni that have not registered on the website www.lghs1986.net and/or for whom we do not have current contact information. LGHS does not aid in the planning of class reunions therefore your reunion committee have had to construct a class list from old yearbooks and a past reunion list. We plan to keep our event website running after the reunion as a place to stay in touch and keep updated information on our classmates for future events. Registering on our website is free and easy and does not commit anyone to attending the reunion, it simply removes them from the missing list and allows the committee to focus efforts elsewhere.
Q. Will I receive tickets in the mail?
A. No. Once you purchase your tickets your name will be on the list at the door on the night of the reunion.
