Jim,

I just wanted to thank you for your Talent, Time and Devotion to making our experience at the 50th Reunion a most very wonderful memory for years to come.  I came home afterword with just a wonderful buzz of memories and renewed friendships.  Nothing can replace the times in our life, and to be able to visit them once again is unbelievable.

You and your committee did a outstanding job and I wanted to thank you once again,  As I sat this morning still thinking about it all. Being thankful for the people who really care.

Dee sees me daydreaming and asks me, the reunion again? Yes, I said! You are truly blessed Having friends like that, please thank Jimmy for me too.

Peace,
Ron

I took the time to upload my class reunion pics and they are on my timeline. Check them out. Earl was going to edit some of them but I decided to go ahead and put them up for all to see. It really was a great weekend. Fri. night, Sat. picnic (or golf) and Sat. night dinner/dance. Sun. we all met for brunch. Lots of fun, friends and food.

You (and your committee) did a fabulous job in preparing and coordinating the reunion.  Great location, well organized, good food, excellent music, and an amazing collection of memories and information provided in the CD.  That was certainly a labor of love.

Jennifer and I really miss the beach, so we squeezed in some time each day to soak up some sun.  We walked several miles one day, and enjoyed going out to the sandbar and finding live conchs.  We also visited with my Dad (who will be 94 on Saturday).  He wanted a Big Mac, fries and chocolate milkshake, and he ate every bite.  Then we baked 24 chocolate cupcakes and froze over half so he can enjoy them for a few weeks.

I am very lucky to have good genes, but I also watch what I eat and go to Curves 3/week.  If I'm going to live a long time (Mom was 90 when she died), I definitely want my quality of life to be good as long as possible.  You looked great too!

Thanks again for all your hard work in throwing a great reunion!

Dear Jimmy,

Thank you so much for your prompt reply to my inquiry. I just put a check in the mail to Mr. Baum for the disk he prepared. I know you worked your tailfeathers off putting this reunion together with such amazing attention to "detail." You are truly unselfish and a real gem for all you have done to make each reunion memorable. I wish I had recovered enough from my surgery to attend.

Best wishes always,
Gail

One hell of a weekend!

Thanks to everyone. Today I am going to meet up with my Scout Master from the Explorers. Jimmy and Ressie were in the Explorer Scouts with me.

Does Jimmy Roberts have an email address?

I have posted in our Forum section, but did not know if anyone will be checking there right now since the reunion is over and want you to know this was the best time I have had in years. I placed a note there saying I could not say it was the best reunion since I have not been at any previous ones, but it was really great being with you all. I was so thankful to see you and get reacquainted with Connie Avis and Liz Stanley. My gosh I haven't thought of them in years. Fortunately, they remembered riding the same school bus with Pat, Margie and me and mentioned that. From there, we became pals again.

I just had the time of my life and I want you to know that all your hard work, blood, sweat, and probably tears was well worth it. You did a wonderful job. The committee and especially you deserve all the Kudos you get. It was an AWESOME experience for me. Sonny had fun too. Hope I get to make the next one.

Heard you will be going in for Open Heart Surgery, but refused it until you got this reunion past you. Please be sure to keep us informed. At the least we can be praying and sending cards if we have an address. You take care of yourself and keep us posted please!

Thanks and Blessings,
Terri

The LHS Class of 1963 web site, www.largo63.com is now displaying a few photos for the Largo High Class of 1962, 50th Reunion held this last weekend at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort.

The Reunion Committee of '62 did a great job on this reunion...one that will be long remembered by those who attended and a high standard for following reunions.

Please feel free to visit the web site, I will leave the photos posted for a week or so, enjoy.

For a complete photo album of the entire reunion contact Betty Mickelson or Jim Kramer....only $20.00 and it will be well worth it.

It was a great turn out and everyone had fun. Nice to get reacquainted with all. Got some new FB friends and some e-mail addresses. I think everyone was more comfortable going in comfortable attire and more relaxed and enjoyed themselves more. You and the entire committee deserve pats on the back. Excellent job!"

Jim:

Please allow me, an outsider to comment on 50th Reunion of the LHS Class of 1962. Many people say it is the PEOPLE who make a party. I have always thought it is the folks who plan the party, look at all the details, and carry it out who make the party one the folks can truly enjoy. You Jim and your Reunion Committee did all the things right to make this reunion a truly memorable event. Each member of the committee is to be congratulated. I am so happy I was able to attend as a guest of my wife! Glad she didn't tell me to stay home and watch FOX News.

The LHS Class of 1963 will learn many lessons from what you guys did, but even with that we must travel the extra mile to match what you guys pulled off.

Once again, what a great job!

Had a super weekend at my 50th class reunion. Picnic yesterday was fun and the dinner dance last night was excellent.............especially the food. LOL LOL. I had been antsy even up til fri morn about going, but it turned out I wasn’t the only one, and am so happy I went. Only sad part was seeing the display of about 60 from our class that have passed on. In 10 yrs I hope to go to the next one.
