Well, I know it's a couple of months away but wanted to let everyone know that I will be coming home Dec 27-Jan 3.  Yes, Jane, I decided to spend New Years in Ga LOL.

Hope to get to see some of you while I am home.  Will keep you all posted.  Just got home from work.  Got some homework to do before I go to bed - and it's 2:17am here --dang LOL.

Happy late birthday Jane!!!  When did your daughter have her baby?  I am going to have a knee replacement soon.  I really dread it.  The therpy is the worst part!!

Deidre Boswell is my daughter and she is going to have a baby in May. I think this is my last grandbaby. We are so excited to have another baby in the family.

Thanks Ann.  I will let yall know when I get to Mother's.  I am sure that is where I will be staying.  I arrive in Atlanta on Dec 27th at 10am but not sure if Mary and I will be coming to Winterville that day or not.  It will be up to her.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE !!!!!

I know it's early but I will be working from 10a-10p Thanksgiving Day.  One of my co-workers is very ill, so I am working part of her shift and mine.

I hope that each of you have a wonderful holiday and I can't wait to see as many as I can when I come home in Dec.  I will arrive the 27th in Atlanta and will fly back to Tx on Jan 3rd.

Our sincere Sympathy goes out to Steve Woods' family.  I just called the funeral home to find out about the arrangements.  The body is at Lord and Stevens Funeral Home in Crawford, Ga.  Visitation will be on Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:00.  The Funeral will be at the chapel in Crawford  on Friday at 2:00.  I'm sure his family would love to see as many of his classmates as possible.

I was so sorry to hear about Steve Woods and the Class of '69's loss of another fine classmate.  As someone said, we aren't getting any younger, which makes it that much more important for all of us to get together with old friends.

Hope everyone is doing well and "enjoying" the cold weather we have had the past few days -- I was ready for the heat to be over, but this is a bit over the top!!!

It is really sad to lose another classmate.  It seems like it was only a few years ago when we were all in school together.  It seems like we could walk in the school and see Steve the way he was 40 years ago.  And for that matter, it seems like Gary Woods should be there too.  I feel honored to have grown up with all of you.

Well, I signed in to say I will see you all in a couple of weeks and noticed the number had changed.  My mind went immediately to Steve.  I sit here with tears in my eyes as I did not get to see him as much as most of you.

I agree with you Edd, I am truly blessed to know all of you. You all are like family.  I truly miss you all.

May Steve rest in peace and may his family find the peace in knowing that he is not suffering anymore. My heart goes out to his family. My thoughts and prayers are with them and all of you.
