I completed and published Beneficial Economics, a book that describes how beneficial social order emerges from free market exchange.
I have begun my next book, Entrepreneurial Ethics, which describes how the Greek idea of "spark within" can be used as the moral foundation for making everyday economic decisions in an entrepreneurial capitalist economy.

School Story

I miss my friends from Lynchburg and still love seeing pictures of Peaks of Otter, where I spent a very formative morning the night after our ring dance.

Bill was such a lively, full-spirited guy. His skin and hair color matched his personality perfectly. My best memory of him was on our graduation beach trip to Virginia Beach, where he outdid himself in celebration. He got totally sunburned and passsed out in the cottage, and Sullivan thought that shaving cream on his delicate parts would help Cauthran feel better.

Sullivan was so impressed with his work that he invited several females to come see what he had done to Cauthran.

The girls were totally amazed

Wonderful memories of a wonderful guy.  I am grateful to God to have known him.

From my profile.
In the last week of school, my buddy Frank Burnette and I adopted a "Devil-May-Care" attitdude about attending school. We found a delightful fishing hole south of town and went there every day to drink beer, catch fish, and scoff at the authorities.

From EC Glass FaceBook today Laurie Thomas During our senior photos, Frank Burnette and I sneaked into many pictures illicitly. For example, neither one of us were members of the E C Glass choir, but we loved getting our pictures taken with them. All told, in our year book, we appear in about 10 group photos. Our strategy was to hang around in the back of the stage, and when a new group appeared, we would sidle up to the group, and grin for the picture. I was wondering if this same technique may work with your Perrymont group on Saturday?

I am a constitutional economist and I love to write about how competitive free markets promote the greatest individual liberty. It turns out that technology innovation is the key to competitive future markets, and that technology evolution looks like Darwin's theory of evolution.

This is the cover of my most recent book, After the Collapse of America, where I argue that the Democratic Republic of America should replace the former USA, after it collapses.
