The best part is you get to see the person up close and personal. It's cool for those who haven't seen each other in 30 years.

Glenn, I am a MASTER sleuth. Thank you for noticing. Think, Sherlock Homes…with a more flattering hat. And just in case that was sarcasm, (let’s face it, you have a mouth on you) I would remind you that the best detectives rely on witness’ accounts when gathering clues. (I do not claim to be a mind reader but a master sleuth.)

Again, let me thank Scott Ireland, who is now in the Classmate’s Protection Program.

LOL Classmates Protection Program!! I looked at your profile and you are beautiful and so is your family. Your like fine wine, better with age.

Hi All,

I was going through some old books and found the "Southside Sentinel" that has all of the class pictures of the "Class of 1975"

I've scanned the 12 pages of photos and hope to share them soon.... somehow. (I'm the low-tech one in the house).

I've sent a message through the "contact us" tab, but if any of you can share some info on how to best share this will all of you, just let me know!

Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's from the Class of '79!

Fondly,
Ellen

Glenn, I knew it was sarcasm. But I wanted you to feel the benefit of the doubt (that's how generous I am.) I think you'd look fabulous in any hat too. Come on ladies, give it up to Glenn. He's still got it. It's not fair that men grow more handsome with age. (I have a great photo of him he won't let me post.)

I've gotten hotter too (in a pre-menopausal kind of way.)
Is there anything sexier than a middle aged woman talking about menopause? I don't think so....

Barbara,

I love you, girl! So fun. Now, where are YOUR photos? We peer-pressured Glenn into posting (say that three times fast.) Don't make us start on you!

BTW- have you all seen Laura Kohut's funky/hip restaurant? My husband and I are going to pretend to be an uber-cool couple and dine there. (Our children will be forced to re-evaluate us. We're far more interesting than we have let on.) Laura and her brilliant husband, Casey are willing to take us Riff-Raff on. We could make a Friday night affair of it. Whose in?

Hey Barbara,

Just being nosy - when West plays Memorial - can I presume you still route for MMHS?

Even though my son attends West, I have no conflict at all. And he's not crazy about the fact that I go to those games. Nor does he enjoy it when I make him watch the band at half-time, but I pull rank on him!

:) Ellen

Melissa I will get some pictures I promise!! I won't take 3 months like Glen either!!!

Barbara Searles (Vaillancourt)

Hi Ellen,
I always feel torn in half when West and Memorial play because I know the West participants so I cheer for them but in my heart I remain loyal to MMHS. I still do not have a staff tshirt from West because I can not bring myself to wear one. McGorry, our new principal is a MMHS girl like us too.

Hey there Collette,
Karen let me look at your yearbook but didn't mention anything about signing it! :-(

Anyway, I really liked the clear cover you created for it. ...reminded me of my grandmother's couch! lol

Wow what a day yesterday...made me think of our times in high school..Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett die on the same day. OK how many of you had the Farrah poster?

06/26/09 07:02 PM #79

Melissa Turner

Let's not forget Ed McMahon…too young…too young.

This may sound harsh but…Michael Jackson? Good! (Completely over him since the pedophilia allegations.)

Farrah?...Tragic. How many of us owed our teenage style to her iconic hair? R.I.P.

Barbara, I am still waiting for the pics. You were a legendary high school beauty. (Glenn and I were talking about it the other day.) Represent, girl! Can you tell I have teenagers? (My teenagers just informed me that it's a tragedy when parents say “Represent.” What do they know?)

06/26/09 11:37 PM #81

Donna Keenan (Grady)

Please don't get me wrong..I think MJ was a creep..but he was still a person that reminds me of times past. I called both my kids today...I forgot he was 3 tables away from us WDW at the Hoop De Doo Revue..they asked us if Tyler would go on stage. He did not want to go up there...I remember saying MICHAEL JACKSON IS HERE ..GET UP ON THAT STAGE...he didn't LOL

06/27/09 10:04 AM #82

Glenn Lianos

How many people tried to find the word sex in Farrah's hair in that poster? It was the urban legend...

PS Melis...represent is kinda over so your teens are right with their scorn...just keepin it real...does that make me a "hater"...werd.

06/28/09 04:33 PM #83

Donna Knowles (Leduc)

thought that was what high school was all about..finding sex...lol

it's great to see so many of you on here....i remember lots....though i was one that tended to blend into the crowd....smile

melissa.....i would love to see laura's place....after i rob the nearest bank first....lol

now on a sad note...i was looking at the "in memory" page and saw dan camire's name on the list....can anyone tell me what happened.....talk about a first love not working out....from 7th grade even....(sigh)....i would appreciate any info.....

Hey Barbara...you called me out for taking so long on pictures...1 week down. Clock is ticking.......Where are yours???

06/28/09 05:33 PM #85

Linda Lemay (Wojceshonek)

Donna, I sent you a message regarding Dan Camire.

Leah Garlichs (Noe)

Reading all these messages is too funny. Melissa - I uploaded 2 photos finally...then and now. Thanks a lot for that! Ugh. Anyone who sees Kevin Farley - tell him I have some excellent photos of him that I'm sure he'd want to see first. I can't find my prom photos anywhere (yet) but my date for both years was class of 1980 anyway ;-) I can still see that baby blue tux though!

06/29/09 04:30 PM #87

Linda Lemay (Wojceshonek)

lol Leah. I got married in 81 and Ben wore a baby blue tux.

Hi Glenn,
I looked at your profile, awesome pictures, you are one classy man! I used to work at Macy's too! Loved it, I worked my way to commission after two years and then the recession hit and I lost my job. I made more at Macy's than at my teaching job, go figure.

As promised my profile has pictures!! I had to recruit my photographer friend to scan the pictures onto his camera and then load them onto my computer. I could not of done it without him.

Barbara, Still gorgeous! Loved, loved, loved your wedding dress. And of course, now I want to know how you got back together after all these years. You're going to be a legendary 30th reunion beauty. I hope Don is a confident man. Can't wait to see you. Are you interested in going to Laura's with us?

Brenda Cayer (Borchers)

I am so enjoying reading all of your posts! Glad to see the site is working for so many of you! The committee has been accused of not having photos. What can I say, we're busy planning a great weekend for all of us!!! Seriously, if someone can take a good picture of me, I'll post it. Not sure that's ever happened...lol.

Happy Fourth, Everyone. Maybe we'll see the sun!!!

Brenda

Hi Melissa,
Thank you!! I would love to go to Laura's Apollo Restaurant, but we'll have to stop by Macy's first to see Glenn so we can get decked out in some little black dresses!!! Glenn will be happy to help out the girls, won't you Glenn??
