The Good Lord saved me on March 10th 1997. I have been married to my wonderful wife since 1988. Living everyday to be more Christ-like
Too many things that I am now ashamed of.
But here are a few clean ones:
1)Cruising around with Jeff Phillips and listening to his Bob Seger "Night Moves" 8-track, over & over & over.
2)On a goof i tried out for the Senior class play and landed a part as Jeff Bowman's son. There was a scene where Jeff and I had to look into each others eyes and say something really sappy to each other. Needless to say that during rehearsals we kept busting out laughing continually. But like true professionals we were able to hold it together when the curtain was raised, but Hollywood never called. I sure do miss Jeff.
3)My Senior year I played a trick on Mr. Carey. He used to hang out a lot with a pretty young Student-Teacher from Ashland College. So I took a picture of him with her in the cafeteria. I took the picture and pinned it to a stuffed squirrel which I had put fake blood on along with a ransom note stating that I would give the negative of this picture to his wife if he didn't place $1,000 in large bills in a shoe box and place it in a certain spot in the library at a specific time. I had to sneak into his room and hung the squirrel in his closet. He ended up playing along with the gag as he sent out several girls from his class to find out who was black-mailing him, but to no avail. He ended up paying the ransom (in Monopoly Money of course)on time and was given the negative and we had a big laugh about the whole thing.
