Do You Remember? Posted Wednesday, October 26, 2011 05:19 AM Let me get this started. Does anyone remember how Prof. Rodriguez selected the next victim to answer a question? |

RE: Do You Remember? Posted Sunday, January 15, 2012 03:31 PM I don't recall how he selected the next victim....but I do recall his "worm" stories. there are SO many things I remember about him and his classroom - Prof Rodriguez really was an inspiring teacher. Things I remember which stand out - almost 50 years later - in my mind: "Oscar" the skeleton - His fish & snail aquariums - Dissecting frogs & bunnies - Biology Scrapbooking The "amoeba" and the "paramecium" - Cheating "acordiones" for his exams -

RE: Do You Remember? Posted Saturday, February 9, 2019 02:12 PM Actually, seems that the Professor would ask the class if there was anybody that would like to have a recess for a few minutes. Then, he would ask them the question. A tad on the manipulative side, but not really a brain-washer. And his guidance to the drawings was highly conscientous. Have been using that notebook for years, during pre-med, and then after as an artist. But when going to Johns Hopkins for medical illustrating, was obsolete because of the cyber-tech culture. So the characterization of the Professor began to seem quaint. or even perhaps quixotic. |
