Ogden's Odysseys

Added February 15, 2023:  Bob's exhaustively researched and wonderfully written account of street names in Oaxaca, Click HERE.  The many biographies are a history lesson.

Dear Fellow AHS Classmate:

Your webmaster is honored to launch the first publication of Bob Ogden's childhood recollections of Mexico.

While your webmaster can allow for vague memories, selective amnesia, historical fiction, BS, and even a shit-load of exaggeration, we caution you about his OUTRAGEOUS and TRANSPARENT lie in chapter 1:  His report card records "Conducta" as a 7, but our exhaustive forensic digital analysis proves he slyly photoshopped out the originally 4's and 5's and replaced them with unearned 7's.  That's OK, Bob; No one believes you ever attained a 7 in Conducta. Additionally, the  "Aprobado" status can only be explained that the current administration tired of Bob's antics, thereby kicking him upstairs to make him someone else's problem.

Your humble webmaster is solely the messenger who publishes the material at Bob's request and with his permission.  If you need to yell at the author, then:

  • Select "Classmate Profiles."
  • Select "Bob Ogden" from the list.
  • Select "Send Bob a Private Message."
  • Have fun!

Be it known to all that the material belongs to Bob, including all exaggerations, fictions, fantasies, recollections, reminiscences, hyperbole, "facts," photos, embellishments, insults, odors, spelling and syntax errors, omissions, etc.  Read at your own risk.

Seriously, we are very grateful for his contribution and hope to receive additional memoirs.

The following image was supplied by Grant Brandon along with this commentary:  "In keeping with your insightful preface on the AHS website, I thought it appropriate to attach a photo from the Austin Reunion [1986] taken I believe by Carla Berdecio which further amplifies Ogden's shifty ways [his eyes tell the full story] and general crafty use of language to further exaggerate his perverted view on life well beyond his youth at AHS."
