Browsing the list of names and hoped to see some staff and students that I remembered from the early days. If anyone has kept in touch, I would love to hear about them. I remember one student that I met up with some 20 years after I knew him as a student. He had pursued a music career and he was entertaining at a resort north of Barrie. We had a good visit and I'm sure Mr. Cressman would have been proud.

This reminds me of the old gang . . . teacher asks, "any questions" and not a peep. Well there was the giggle over by the door but, other than that, not a word.

Come on gang! After these many years there must be a thought or 2 that rings a bell or sounds an alarm. Do we remember the plaza hang out - the cool way we greeted the spring (catching rays in the football field and beyond)? There must be something that says - tell it and have a laugh.

Do we remember starting the paper, cleaning the neighbourhood, designing and naming the mascot? The class of '71 lived a time that will never come again - but we can have this reunion to have times again - BE THERE

How about those Algonquin trips 24th of May weekends? I remember Mr. Niece on those trips. One young lady took ill one year when we were camped on the island in Lake Tom Tompson. We had a team of canoers that did a marvelous job of getting her back to the landing so she could receive medical attention. They paddled so fast I think we could have waterskied behind it. I don't think I've ever been more proud of a group of young people that pulled together in an emergency. Fortunately, the young lady recovered. I don't recall if the illness was serious. I'll see if I can find some photos of those trips.

What a great site. I would love to have the opportunity to re-connect with some of my classmates. Lots of great memories...

Thanks Gryphons.

Hi,
Just noticed a great feature on the staff profile section...."Show yearbook photo". Wouldn't that be great for the classmates profiles.

Looking forward to the Anniversary/Reunion. Has me pulling out some old photo albums, and bringing back some GREAT memories!!!!!

I have already re-connected with a few classmates, and will post some pics prior to the anniversary!!!

It would be great if we could see some of the old year book photos. I wonder if the school still has them, I wouldn't mind taking the time to scanning them and then posting some.

PAUL - that was a great idea.

Perhaps some industrious people could take that one step further. It would be a really "TODAY" idea to actually scan the a year book and then make it available to alumni for a small fee - a fee that could be paid into a general (or specific) fund for future alumni events.

How about it?

Larry since I don't have any year books I would gladly pay for it.

Maybe they can set up a place where we can post pictures other than our profiles.
Like in the Photo Gallery.

Here's one, does anyone have a copy of what I believe was referred to as "J. Bouskill's" (sp?) Gryphon? I know they were used on the football jackets in around '72 or '73. "Larry S. I'm sure you know the one I'm talking about". Terrific looking mascot, not like the one they have now (sort of looks like "Fido's" begging for a treat!) It would be awesome to be able to come up with some of "J's" artwork and get it down off of the shelf.

How about getting gassed at Dr. Glickman's during your spare.

Peter that is a good question. It took alot of work to get it. I think I know. But these lips are sealed, and it was not me.
