Hello Jerry & Ron:  The picnic was a perfect event and I'm so glad
to have been there.  Missed seeing Norm Tomlinson, he sent a note
to the message board, but my aging iMac/dial-up doesn't trigger the
reply function. Where were Walt Carlson and Gary Goodwin?  Began
my day at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Davenport and wow, what a
wonderful experience; great music, fine sermon (homily), and great
coffee time afterward.  The interim-dean is the former Bishop for the
State of Iowa, and he did something not generally found in Episcopal
worship, that is, he had all the little kids come up for a Bible story.
It was like Art Linketter always stated, kids say the darndest things.
The congregation was in giggle mode.  Could you post an update on
Bud Moore, trust he's recovering from the fall.   Also, I'd sent some
Hi-Camp photos to Arlene (Zimmerman @ 70), feel free to post them
on the sight . . .tongue-in-cheek for giggles stuff.  Russ Baker had seen
them . . .some comment I got from him !  Gary Brown was talking about
knee surgery / replacement . . .how is he doing?  Did you know . . .the
pastor of Joe & Anthea Ewert's church is Alan Eastland, class of '59,
played Basketball for MHS.    Later . . .StanZimmerman
