Patricia Donahue (Lievens) VIEW PROFILE

 

Patricia L. “Pat” Lievens, 78, of Moline, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Clarissa Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. A Funeral Mass will be 10am Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Sacred Heart Church, Moline. Visitation will be 4-6pm Monday at Rafferty Funeral Home, Moline. A rosary will be recited at 3:30pm by Sacred Heart Altar and Rosary Society, National Catholic Society of Foresters Court 956 and Catholic Order Foresters Court 1691 where she was a member. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials can be made to Unity Point, Moline American Legion Post 246 Baseball Team. Pat was born August 29, 1940 in Moline, the daughter of W. Patrick and Nedra (VanVoltenburg) Donahoe. She married Elmer “Fred” Lievens, Jr. on May 18, 1963 at Sacred Heart Church, Moline. He preceded her in death in 2017. Pat worked at Epic Foods at the John Deere Administration Center and later retired from HRH Insurance. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, where she volunteered for many years, Vikings Club and East End Club, Moline. She enjoyed attending her children’s school and sporting events, was an avid baseball fan, enjoyed her evenings out with her high school club friends and enjoyed trips to the casino with her late, beloved husband. Survivors include her sons, Todd (Debbie) Lievens, Shawnee, KS and Brian Lievens, Moline; grandchildren, Bryce and Ben Lievens, Shawnee, KS and Abbi and Keaton Lievens, Moline; sisters-in-law, Sandy Murrah, Iowa City, Debbie (Wayne) Sharer, Sherrard, Cathy Donahoe, LeClaire and Pat Lievens, East Moline. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Donahoe; sister-in-law, Bonnie McCormick; brothers-in-law, Jerry & Dan Lievens, Butch Murrah and Bill McCormick. The family would like to thank Dr. Dave Ade and staff for their compassionate care.
