When I was on a Firebase in Vietnam in 1970, someone said somebody was looking for me that had been on that helicopter that just landed. I didn't have alot of visitors there so I was surprised. Turns out it was Terry Sweeny, who was a door gunner on that helicopter.
How he knew some Moberg whether, John or Mark, was on that Firebase I never got a good answer from Terry but it was good to see someone from "home". Didn't know Terry then but knew off his sister Karen as we were in the same class.
I have used the site for years and cannot say enough about Terrys' efforts.

As a Vet myself I took notice of the picture from Vietnam. It read 75th Inf. LRRP Ranger. During Rudy service time there were NO better trained troops than those of the 75th Inf., Ranger, LRRP. A TRUE WARRIOR.
It did not surprise me at all when I learned Rudy went all out in Vietnam. Full bore as we used to say.
I made contact with a guy who writes about the 75th Inf. to notify anyone who may have known Rudy during his service years.
