Barbara Ann Hammond Williams, age 65, passed away at her home Saturday, July 30, 2011. Born in Myrtle Beach, SC, Barbara was a daughter of the late Guy E. Hammond and Claudine Chestnut Hammond Strickland.
 

Barbara was a retired teacher and held a Bachelors degree in Social Science and Latin from Winthrop University and a Masters degree in Education from the University of South Carolina.
 

Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Dr. Stanley H. Williams of Hot Springs Village, AR; her daughters: Lori Williams Fenner and her husband Starr of Jonesboro, AR, Wendy Williams Grissom and her husband David of Sherwood, AR and Darrah Williams Lane and her husband Mark of Hot Springs Village, AR; her grandchildren: Alysa Gayle Fenner, Erynn Starr Fenner, Lexington Gray-Willliams Grissom, Leighanna Lane-Williams Grissom, Nina James Lane, Emma Cecilia Lane and Rowan Caiazzo Lane; her Godchildren: Kati Cameron Hutchinson and Grace Shealy and a host of cousins and friends.  Mrs. Williams was predeaceased by her parents.
 

Funeral services for Mrs. Williams will held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 5, 2011 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Beach Chapel with Dr. J. Kirk Lawton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Southeastern Memorial Gardens in North Myrtle Beach.
 

The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 P.M. Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the funeral home.
