Bobby and I were good friends and we beat on the drums in the MBHS Band for a few years together and in Myrtle Beach bands and clubs for a long time. Never did we feel like we were competing. We were just good friends. Our lives crossed again when we got back together and started attending an annual Musician Reunion in Columbia SC, with musicians friends and club owners over the last ten years.  Bobby and Dianne were also a welcome and frequent guest at the  MBHS Seahawk luncheon, and he was a hit on the dance floor at last years MBHS Reunion for classes of 1963-68. I write this comment today with all respect to Bobby and Dianne, Bobby was so lucky to have such a devoted wife and best friend, they had such a wonderful life together. Bobby will really be missed by his many friends. R.I.P. My friend.
