Hi Classmates

Counting down to our reunion on May 17.  Can't wait!

We have many planned fun activities and wanted to let you know about one of them.

We are making a Memory Book with pictures of all that attend.

Once you sign in you will be directed to the photo area for a quick picture.

Information about our Memory Book from our photographer is below.

Please review

See you all soon

Be There Or Be Square

Fred Cohen

Chair, 50th Reunion Committee

Hello, we are Swentowsky Photography, the photographers photographing your reunion and producing your reunion book.  To make your reunion as fun as possible here are a few hints to help you and spend the least amount of time in long lines.

Arrive early to have your photo taken for the memory book.  The longer you put this off, the longer the lines will be.
Put your name tag on after your photo is taken.
Make sure both your name and spouse's name is spelled correctly along with the mailing address so your proofs and memory book get to the right place.  You will receive this card at the reunion.
We accept cash, checks, and charge for reunion books, (although cash is preferred because it is faster.)  Please bring either $25 in cash, a pre-filled out check payable to Swentowsky Photography, or fill out the information below for your credit card ($27) to purchase your memory book to shorten your time in line.  There is no obligation to purchase a book, but most of your classmates want this souvenir.
NEW This year, we have implemented a paypal button onto our website that allows you the pre-purchase a reunion book from us directly.  Here is the link: http://swentowskyphotography.com/Site/reunion-pay.html
Please keep in mind that you do not have to purchase a memory book, but the committee does want everyone to get their photo taken to put into the memory book.  So even if you don't plan on buying one, please come get your photo taken.

See you all Saturday night!

Let the party begin!

I found George and Pattie (Wilkerson) Gibson. Left a message via their son-in-law last night. Hoping he'll return my call.

Last Sunday I was watching The Sunday Morning Show on CBS. On of the topics was Phil Harbert's Bubbling Wells Pet Cemetery here in Napa. It interviewed Phil's brother and had some beautiful scenes up in the Atlas Peak area. You can either google Phil Harberts Bubbling Springs Pet Cemetery or recall that episode of The Sunday Morning Show. I have asked the Harberts family to pass on our 50th reunion information, but have not received any return calls.

I just took advantage of paying in advance for the Memory Book. Done in less than a minute smiley I want to slide right through that line to the bar.

How do we do that, Debbie?

Diane Raymond (Ball)

Oh my goodness, Cissy, SAW, really?  I've never seen those movies.  The mascot is from Napa High.  It had a name, which I doubt many people know, but hopefully someone can come up with the name of the person, inside.  Bruce Erricson was wrong, by the way.  :)

Diane, I'll send you the message the message containing information to do that!

Diane, look above at message #154 on how to do it.

Good Sunday Morning!

There seems to have been a lapse in the Ridgeview posts so I thought I would post another article from the REBEL news paper.  Its a small news letter so I had to spread it out.  Redwood and Silverado will like this.

" The 'winless' and 'scoreless' Rebels moved this week into the second half of the football season playing the Indian J.V.'s.  The Rebels assumed the roll of the 'spoiler' after losing three straight this year.  They have been unable to establish an attack that would produce touchdowns after the J.V.'s fumbled often in the first game.

Silverado scored three times to defeat the Rebels in the second game and moved to a tie with the J.V.s for the lead.

Redwood and Ridgeview battled for victory and 50 seconds before the final gun Redwood intercepted a pass and scored to win 6-0.

Jerry Thomas and Dave Aiken (fond rememberances, RIP) have been doing a fine job in the line.

Debbie,

I just finished ordering my memory book on line. It looks like it'll be a race to the bar. Better have your tennies on!

I ordered mine as well. Diane, did you do the same?

Does anyone know where Tim Hewlett is?

Diane

i think u were the mascot!!

Cathy -- Thanks a lot.  As quarterback & captain of the lowly Rebels, I held a lot of the responsibility for our lack of scoring.  Guess our defense was OK though.  I believe the next game (vs. the JVs) was our best.  We scored twice - once on a pass to Larry Eades (whatever happened to him?) & once on a spectacular run by Don Hill.  We beat the JVs & nobody else.  We did much better in baseball.

Please note: even then Shev was after my job........All he had to do was ask..............

Diane,

I think it was our cute little Dane, Claire Jacobsen as Indian Joe. Am I close?

Burt~ A few years back, Larry E. lived in the Salvador area.  His grandson was in my class at Salvador Elementary School. I think that would be around 2006.

I thought that Indian Joe was either Claire Jacobsen or Nancy Garland...  but I was never sure.

Gerald (Jerry) Thomas

I think the mascot was a small person from Silverado or Redwood  scouting us out. How else could we have been so bad?! (actually I don't even remember it...

Diane Raymond (Ball)

And, Larry Hamilton, you would be wrong!  Keep guessing.

Sandy Swearingen, you get the GOLD STAR!  Yes, I was the Basketball Mascot in 1963 and the Football Mascot in 1964.  Now, for the NAME of the Mascot.  :)

Charmy Ann Evans, Claire was my partner in crime, but this photo is acutally me.  I, also have a photo of me as the Female Version.  Claire and I thought it was only fair that we would exchange outfits, every game.

lol Larry Adams!  By the way, everyone, the Mascot's name was not, "Indian Joe".  ;)

Burt Williams, this photo is not a photo of Claire.  As I told you, Claire and I were best friends from 7th at Redwood.  She and I did this, together, but the photo is of me!

Speaking of Larry Eades. Anyone remember the white chevy impala SS that he got while still at Ridgeview? One of the few kids at Ridgeview who had a car. I think Diane Stewart was his girlfriend then. Nice guy, I met him at Napa Junction Elementary. One day he gave me a ride home on his bike when mine had a flat (scared the hell out of me he rode so fast).  frown
