Larry Rabeneck

Larry Rabeneck passed away on May 24, 2009, at the age of 65, of lung illness.  He resided in Blue Mound, KS and is survived By: Sharon, wife; Marven and Maylene Rabeneck, Parents; Kenneth Rabeneck, brother; James Rabeneck, brother;Starla West, daughter; Sandy King, daughter and two grandchildren Elijah and Ardyn

He graduated from North Kansas City High School and went on to obtain an Electrical Engineering Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Larry was married to Sharon Abshier on April 7, 1966, in Corning, Ark. He was a Private First Class of the 42nd Army Band and a proud member of the MG Club of Kansas City. He spent 33 years working at Honeywell, formerly King Radio Corp. There, he became one of the first Six Sigma Black Belts. After attaining Master Black Belt status, Larry and his wife Sharon built one of the pre-eminent Six Sigma educational companies in the U.S. His passion for teaching and mentoring is apparent in the enthusiasm and success of his students worldwide. Larry recently relocated from Olathe to their property in Blue Mound. As an avid outdoorsman, Larry loved "the farm," and relished hunting, fishing, planting, and herding cows. He was very proud to have won the Linn County Conservation Grass Award.
