I looked up Mike Armintrout this past year on internet. You can print his name on Google and get an account of his Naval sevice and death info. I have fond memories and was sad to hear of his death Jan/2002, I think.
Mike joined the USN after college. I was honored to be in his wedding as he married Doreen at the Pensacola Naval Air Station Chapel. They eventually moved to the Northern Virginia area and had two lovely daughters. Mike died from Pancreatic cancer in early 2000.
Mike and I met at Northgate Jr. High in dance class. We danced together through high school. He was a very special friend. Our last date was on campus our first year at Northwest, Missouri State College. I am so glad to hear that Mike's best friend, Don Enloe was able to stand up for him at his wedding. Mike was truly a blessing to those who were among his friends.

I went to the Junior Prom with Mike...and had him over to my house some. He was such a gentleman. Sorry to hear that he is no longer with us.
