Harold Jack "Skeeter" Harding Jr. was my Dad. He was a tremendous man who was very much a family man. He had heart surgery in 1963 but never complained of any ailments he had. Unfortunately, he died of a massive heart attack during bypass surgery on May 30, 1995. His family will forever miss him.

Skeeter was an intergral part of 'our gang' in the neightborhood of Cleveland and Russell Roads along with Steve Rhodes, Vicki Robinson, Arthur Flemming, Linda Rhodes and me, Claudia Moad. We all did everything together - bike riding, snow sledding, Trick-or-Treating and walking to school. When television came along, we watched Micky Mouse Club together in the Rhodes' living room since they had the first television. We had a lot of fun and few, if any, disagreements! I don't remember any of us ever getting into any big trouble. Growing up in that neighborhood was just wonderful! I loved everyone's parents, too! Skeeter, I will never forget you!
