DONNA J. HESS

   Donna J. Hess, 67, of Parkville, MO went to be with our dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on January 5th, 2012. Visitation and services will be held at East Side Baptist Church; 19901 East 78 Highway, Independence, MO 64057. Visitation will be Monday, January 9th, 6-8pm. Services will be Tuesday, January 10th at 10am.

 

   Donna was born July 15th, 1944 in Kansas City, MO. She married the love of her life, James Hess, on August 4th, 1962. Her life was filled with family, friends, laughter, cooking and quilting. She loved helping others, giving words of encouragement and wrapping her dear ones with unconditional love.

 

   She was preceded in death by her parents and oldest son, Danny. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jim; two children and their spouses, Jeff and Marsha Hess, Leslie and Dan Schick; one sister Carla Heese; granddaughters, Brenna, Kayla, Kylie and Hailee; one great-grandson, Lucca; and two step-grandchildren, Brad and Kristy Schick. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. We will miss her every day.

 

   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to East Side Baptist Church, Keith Worthington Chapter of the ALS Association, Northcare Hospice, and Sisters Servants of Mary Nurses KC.

I knew Donna all through grade school and high school. After I was

married, she and Jim lived right down the street from us. I was terribly 

sad to learn of her death, she was a lovely woman.

I just saw the announcement of Donnas death.  Was very sorry to hear this.  Last time I saw Donna  her and Jim were working for the man that built the house we live in now.  She helped me a lot during our construction and Jim did all the painting.  Sorry to hear this.
