Survived By: Roy Roper, husband of 45 years, Mother, Gladys Mays, two brothers, two sisters, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Beth (Mays) Roper was my aunt. She worked at the courthouse in Richmond, Missouri, for approximately 24 years. She loved her family, antiques, the outdoors, and had a tremendous faith in God. This faith supported her after being diagnosed with sarcoidosis of the lungs. She spent many years using oxygen and was sent home to die from KU Medical Center in 2003. She continued to fight. Unfortunately, during an outing with her husband, she fell. Aunt Beth went to be with the Lord 2 weeks later due to complications from the fall. We look forward to seeing you someday in heaven!
