Alice Nicholas Lillygren Obituary

Alice Faye Lillygren, 79, passed away June 4, 2024. Alice is survived by her daughter Tricia of Greenwood, MO and her son Douglas of Calhoun, MO. She will join Warren, her husband of 55 years, in Memorial Park Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.

Alice had a passion for her summer flower gardens and embraced a love for reading. With Warren, she spent over 50 years following and supporting their children’s interest. They followed their daughter to numerous activities as a student-athlete through high school, college,
and beyond and then supported her career as a teacher and coach. She loved heading to the farm to see her son and supporting him and her husband as they built a beautiful home there together. Alice had a kind soul and showed her love and devotion to her family every day.

Alice was born July 7, 1944 in Kansas City, MO to Albert and Loreva Nicholas. She graduated from North Kansas City High School. She spent much of her career at Children’s Mercy Hospital as a manager in the patient accounts department working with Medicaid patients. She was a dedicated, talented and hardworking member of the CMH staff.

Visitation and service will be held at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd. Visitation will be Monday, June 10th, 2024. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM with the service and burial in Memorial Park Cemetery following.
