Our dear friend Linda Reed – Landry, affectionately known as “Mouse” passed away last night in Kankakee, IL.   She had suffered several strokes 4 or 5 years ago and was unable to walk without assistance.   She had been living in an apartment in an assisted living place there in Kankakee.   She had two sons and many loving friends there who visited with her every day.

Mouse was able to attend one of our mini reunions two years ago and it was certainly a highlight for her.   She traveled for years with our “Colorado Girls” group and we all loved her.

Mouse was a very special friend and will be missed by many everyday.  To say she was "special" would not say how funny, intelligent, talented and a truly devoted friend to all of us and her puppies who were waiting for her in heaven.

I write this with a very heavy heart, but know she is now at rest and watching over all of us.

So sorry to hear about Linda's passing.  Mouse was such a sweet gal.  I got to spend time with her at the mini reunion and I feel  so lucky to have seen her then.  So many fond memories.  Rest in Peace Linda,

I've known Mouse for 63 years. She's been a delightful friend and we've all made

incredible memories together. She was a beautiful spirit and I'll carry her in my heart forever.
