Memories that still make me laugh

Anyone at Wingfoot between 1961 and 1967 should remember my dear friend (to this day) and cabinmate, Gail (a.k.a. Gay Gay) Shister. I've known her since pre-Wingfoot day camp and we're still tight.

Gail was a tennis wiz. I was her usual opponent, which is why I never won our cabin championship. However, Gail was not as adept in other sports. She looked like Granny Clampett on a horse, and avoided the pool as much as possible.

My story takes place in 1967, Starhouse year. Gail had a red puckered cotton 2-piece bathing suit with "ample" cups that lived on the clothesline for probably a month. One day, we discovered that not only did a bird build a nest in one of those ample cups, but there were eggs in it! This was just one of the many other memorable and irreplaceable experiences we all shared at camp.
