Going to be hard to play golf in that snow Rocky! 72 here today!

Those snow banks remind me of our winters as kids!

Only seven weeks until we launch the boat. Remember the Slow Gin Fizzes on my grandfathers boat?

Currently to enter NYS without qusrantine you have to have been fully vaccinated between 14 and 90 days ago.Mine will be over 90 days in Sept. If this does not change it will keep those of us who live out of state away.
Does that make sense to anyone?
I was fully vaccinated in early March so won't be able to come after June.
Anyone have any insight ?

People are going between all neighboring states right now. (New York, New Jersey, Ct., Mass, Pa, Vermont etc)

If all goes well lots of current restrictions will be removed. I would suggest we wait and see.

Since receiving our vaccines,we have ate at some restaurants and the pent up demand is crazy!

Hope everyone is well and trying to enjoy life again!

Hopefully will loosen up. Was just surprised at the paperwork to fly into Syracuse. And the form requiring vaccine no older than 90 days. Was like gattingva Visa for China. ?

Hopfully things will loosen up soon. 🤞🤞

So sad to hear about Jeff. Have not seen him since graduation. He was a great guy with lots of talent.

What was the name of his band? Tom Gangemi was in it with him.

Condolences and prayers to his family. RIP Jeff.

I'm now fully Phizer vaccinated and want to verify that our 50+1 Cicero-NS reunion is still scheduled for Sunday, 9/19/2021 at Borio's so I can start researching flights.  I am definitely planning on attending!  Thanks for everything and I'm super excited!

As far as I can predict, we are still on for the Fifty plus one event at Borio's!

Everyone should keep their fingers crossed!

Thanks much John!  Is there a 'schedule' of events for the day or just a 'start' time at Borio's?  Thanks again!

Sandee,

Have not set up any other events yet. May have a couple school tours and who knows what else!

The party at Borio's is only event cast in stone so far. Any suggestions are welcome!

Please pass this info on to anyone you know that maybe interested!

Only about three months until our "fifty plus one reunion"!

Hopefully everyone is starting to witness the return to normal life!

Thank you John for all you do!    Do we have a set date for our 50+ reunion?  I thought I read once a date was scheduled in September.  Thanks again. Linda

I'm booking my flights next week.  And SO excited to be able to attend now that I'm fully vaccinated and FL and NY are fully re-opened.  John do I have to make a reservation/buy a 'ticket' for our 50+1?

Thanks again for all you've done and continue to do for us--your efforts are truly very much appreciated!  See you in September :-)

Greetings to all. I've got all my travel plans in place for attending. I've been in touch with forever friends and look forward to seeing so many more friends and classmates and talking the afternoon away. So looking forward to seeing everyone at this 50th+1 celebration. Deb Wilcox

Payment for attending the Borio's event will be taken at the door. The cost is still being negotiated with Borio's.

When the cost is set in stone I will post it on here. Let's hope for a perfect September afternoon on the lake!

Please try and let everyone know that this will be the official reunion site. So reach out to others and please stay tuned. A total anticipated head count might' be needed as the date nears. We can do that here on this site.

If anyone has any other event ideas or targeted reunions for groups please use this forum.

Have a great summer and stay tuned in here for updates.

Hey all. Been wanting to catch up. With the reunion quickly approaching some of the stories are really hitting home.
John you have been awesome keeping us focused and informed. Many thanks. I don't have the years of history being that I came in 67. But the fact over the years we shared some similar experiences is so cool. Especially that I lived in the Philippines 63-66 and I believe Glenn was there.
Anyway being an Air Force brat is cool.
Hope to make it up there.
Cheers all. Stay safe.

Just to echo the many thanks to John for all his work in organizing the reunions.I was wondering if there is a hotel specified to stay in for the reunion. I know there was other years, but I don't remember which one. I'm so looking forward to the reunion. Thank you again, John

There are hotels in Cicero and Brewerton. I have not approached any for a deal. Most everyone that travels has a preferred vendor and already has a better deal. Last reunion we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express right off the Cicero exit. There is a Comfort Inn there too.

If anyone has any recommendations please post them here!

John's hotel references are the closest to Borio's, in the center of Cicero, easy I-81 on & off, with a Country Kitchen restaurant within easy walking distance (others nearby).

I read a post that Borio's is being auctioned off at the end of July. Is there a back up plan or are we sure. Will still be open? I am not in Syr but came across a facebook page from NS so maybe fake news.
