David Marr, a good friend of Roy, informs the class that Roy Beeder passed away on September 23, 2025.  Dave wrote the following:

Another of our classmates has passed away.  Roy Beeder died of a heart attack on Sept. 23rd.  Roy had been living for the past few years in a Seniors Residence in Coquitlam.  I had spoken to Roy earlier in September as it was his birthday on the 15th.  His daughter told me today that Roy had just found out that his prostate cancer had moved into his bones & he was getting prepared for the Chemo/Radiation ordeal.  He never mentioned this to me.  He & I were good friends during our school years.  He was a very good athlete & a good friend.
