A miss-mash here...Gary I loved the Moth joke - Hutch thanks for asking about Sue; she's in complete remission and has been for a year. Long battle, miraculous win. Lot's of prayers. - Glad to hear Sharon Davis still battlin' away. Courageous lady and hubby Jerry. - You say Dale Thompson's wife having difficulty? Dale a very neat guy. Was so friendly to everyone at the 50th reunion - Who did Pete Crompton marry? He and I were on a rabbit hunt with a bunch of church kids way back when. As things went, Smoky Merrill was accidentally shot in the butt with a 22 slug and was spirited away by a Thiokol emergency vehicle. (We were hunting nearby) Pete and Smoky were neighbors I think. BTW, Smoky lived, the bullet was removed just under his belly button. 22's go nuts after entering the body. - Hey I'm planting a garden out here. Rich rocky soil. Can't wait for a Utah Tomatoe! In Texas Tomatoes are red and round but tastless (maybe they come from California) they're nothing in comparison to a succulent Utah Tomato! (we need spell-check on this BL site!)

Easter Egg hunts, Easter Baskets, Easter bonnets, dresses etcetera are all fun and has always been pleasant in my memory.

The huge message for us, however is to recognize the resurrection of our Lord and Savior -- terms we hear all the time, but without His agreeing to come to earth and sacrifice himself, to pay the debt for all of our sins, we would not have everlasting life. We would not have the gift of repentance, to be forgiven of our sins.

The tremendous agony Jesus endured is beyond our ability to even comprehend, yet we can take time to thank Him, and be ever mindful of what He did for us. Another thing, is to remember He is our intermediary with God the Father, and continues to love us and wishes for us to live with Him, and our Father again after we leave this mortal existence. Remember to give special thanks today.

Well hello there! It's so nice to hear from you ladies. We have been rambling on but haven't heard from you. What do you think about what we have been talking about including old high school memories. I do believe that we sat with you and your husband at our 50th reunion.

Janie, it is so nice and refreshing to hear from you.  Your comments have made my day, and certainly added a nice break,  to this sequestration we're all living under.

Thank you too, Steve for the Easter wish -- I know many of our classmates, are sending out their thougt waves for all of these things -- I sense it during the holiday seasons.
.Perhaps I'm slipping into the 'old fart' stage, where thoughts and emotions are closer to the surface.  I do think of you all, wonder how you are, and would dearly love to hear from all of you, even if a short note.  Janie's note really uplifted me.  Of course hearing now from Gary, Ferron and Steve is fantastic, now the rest of you need to join in.

Stay safe, remember to wash your hands.  I've washed my hands so much, having so much soap and hand sanitizer seep into my body, everytime I go to the bathroom, my urine cleans the toilet bowl.

Caution Class Mates, - I've been walking and thinking a dangerous endeavor. (Ask Dan). I only heard it once on the tele-screen a few days ago and haven't heard it since. A guy said that we are on the honeymoon part of this virus! The schools are closed for the rest of the year, people I talk to as I walk in my neighborhood, restaurants, shops, saloons, movies sports it goes on and on. The deaths and families torn. Relief of rent and mortgage payments has to come to an end. The burglaries in New York are up 400&,it ain't open and nobody is there so bust in at your leisure. I don't think that you can hook up the jumper cables or press a button to get this World economy back up and running. The honeymoon thing almost sounds more sane. Right now everyone is friendly and obeying the rules HERE in River City but not everywhere. We really are teetering on the edge of anarchy. Some have already pulled the race card, Magic Johnson and Oprah for starters. Ok,enough from a troubled mind. Regards, Gary. Comments?

I really enjoy your comments, Gary.  I know you do a lot of walking and thinking.  I do my best thinking in the shower in the morning! lol  That is, I don't shower as long as you walk, so that must mean, I'm not thinking as much.  You're a good man Gary Acker.  Keep participating, and stimulating our thought.  I have some thoughts on your comments, this Corona-19 virus, but want to wait to see if some of our other classmtes might weigh in.

Thank you Dan that's why we throw these ideas out there my friend. One thing that I skipped over because my typing doesn't keep up with my brain is the fact that most of the folks I talk to are out of work and only a few can work from home. My daughter works for the IRS and she was one of the last to be sent home. I guess that we will see what shakes out. By the way, I used to do most of my thinking in the shower in the morning.

Well said Gary,So what do you think Opra want's, to outlaw COVID 19 to only 30 % could get thevirouse for peopal of color.I'm really tired of the race card. Enouph of that .

Hey Ferron, I'm like you except my fingers can't keep up with my brain so I go real slow because my mind is even slower, also I'm really tiered of the race card. I haven't seen you at Macys hope to see you again.

First off, Mary Jane, you know I was in love with at one time. We even went on a date as I remember, or was it a dance? My brain is so jammed up with info. that I have to forget something before I can learn anything new! LOL Anyway, your Husband is a Lucky guy! It's great to hear your comments. - Acker, one piece of advice from your radical friend here...follow the money. Health professionals, hospitals, doctors and the media are making a fortune off of Cocid19. Testing, testing, testing and selling ads and copy while they profit, profit, profit from the hysteria. (I DIDN'T SAY THE VIRUS ISN'T SERIOUS) (FAR FROM IT) But I've read where there were zero deaths from common A B type flu during March. Also no deaths from Pnumonia! Really? Come on people. And then things like a 109 year old woman in a resthome died From Covid 19, as if being 109 didn't have a thing to do with it. Or the guy who forgot his parachute before jumping out ot a plane and his death was reported to be caused by Covid19. Meanwhile millions of Americans have been forced into unemployment and our economy is being wrecked. Plus the 2 trillion stimulous package is extremely inflationary! Nothing's free and we'll pay dearly for the package. Higher prices on everything! Sorry, but I simply don't trust the numbers or their sources, but do believe that certain sectors of our economy are making bundles of $ due to the scare. - We are going to get thru this stuff. Lots of wonderful things lay ahead for God's children! Have faith brother. - Dan, it's great to see emotion in your posts! Put it out there guy! And Ferron, we definately need spell check! But please guys, just see things my way and don't criticize me... I'm very sensitive. And I'm right most of the time anyway!

Yes, Steve it's hard to improve upon perfection!  I agree totally with your corona-19/political comments. The deaths from "About 647,000 Americans die from heart disease each year—that’s 1 in every 4 deaths."

There are tons of charts giving percentages of various death rates --right now the percentage of Corona-19 is about 1/10th of one percent of the population, far less than dying from a heart attack.

Coronary heart disease is by far the highest rate of mortality in the country.  Even auto accidents, Diabetes etc.  are very high rates, but these people who are (as you say Steve) are making a killing on this Corona-19.  Yes, it is serious but playing in traffic is risky also.  Seriously, they are hyping this up far beyond actual threat.  Serious yes, but we need to keep calm and look at the facts, not be victims of the hype.

What scares me more than the virus is absolute control government is exercising over our freedoms.  When a man can't even drive to his summer cabin in the mountains, away from everyone, to enjoy nature and row on a lake, by himself, it's way out of line Constitutionally..  When a grocery store is told they can't sell seeds to plant a vegetable garden, what does that say about trampling on our freedom? This virus has given an excuse to exercise this type of control, now that it is precedent, it will be easier next time to curtail our freedoms. That my friends it more scary than the virus.

We have it all wrong girls and boys, it's global warming that's causing all of this! As far as civil rights are concerned I said that when he declared a national emergency who needs that old constitution anyway it was written so long ago. This is the best way around it. (Global warming , I read it on the interweb so you know that its true. I'm pretty sure that you can still go to your cabin or hiking, I go for walks every day and people that I see always say hello. My biggest concern is still anarchy but you guys are right about the inflation and depression that is sure to follow. As you can tell my tongue is stuck in my cheek on some of this. Good to hear from all of you!

Hutch, You're spot on again...A law (edict) here in Utah just came in that you can't go fishing outside of your county. I haven't fact checked this, just heard it from my brother who is currently forbidden to go to his spot in East Canyon, near Morgan and go fishing! - Texas Governor Greg Abbot recently announced that enough is enough and Texas is going back to work come May 1st! If this BS in Utah continues, I may be joining Dan in Texas! It's gotta' start somewhere guys, and Texas (and Utah) and Oklahoma btw are among the most Christian and most conservative states in the union. I SINCERELY BELIEVE IN STATES RIGHTS but wonder out loud here: Can Greg Abbot get away with his decree? I certainly hope so. -- Acker it was great speaking with you over the phone. Sorry about my ears, one is 76 this birthday and the other one is already 82! But I caught most of our conversation. -- Ferron, give us a little more info. Where did/do you work? What's a hobby you like? etc. I've been out of pocket (working) and have much to catch up on.

Dang, there goes my fishing trip to Antelope Island! Seriously that fishing think has been in affect for a while. My son in law is none too happy with that he tries to go on days off. It's probably not your ears Steve as much as me trying to walk and talk. One more thing Steve, don't completely retier, work buddy, it makes you feel better honestly!

Ferron, when Miss Hendrickson coached your swim team did she wear a kind of blue green swimsuit? I have a mental picture of her wearing one, not too hard to look at either.

I'm sitting in my recliner taking a brief rest after mowing the lawn. Jane is preparing a nice Bolivian dish for lunch, and tapping a ketchup bottle upside down, getting the last bit out. She started tapping to the beat of a song, like a drum. I then started slapping my legs, to a rhythmic accompaniment. It sounded pretty good -- we laughed, saying "have we been locked up too long"? Our poor dog, Sam's ears are moving back and forth -- looking at us, like we've slipped a cog!
