Recall one of Rodney Dangerfield's comments: "I found the perfect place to hide my money, 'under the vacuum'"

I'm batching it for a couple of weeks.  My wife, Jane, flew back to North Carolina, to give some assistance to my daughter-in-law, with her six year old son.  Marcela, my daughter-in-law, is from Tarija, Boivia, a very talented grafic artist, actually exceptionally artistic in all respects.  She learned to drive, getting a driver's license in Bolivia, but is too intimidated to drive in the State, thus my wife's visit.  Lucas, my grandson, attends a school that runs all year, with a couple of weeks off every couple of months.  It's a great system, keeping the kids head in the game, staying actively engaged with their learning.  I'm very impressed.  Jane is providing the shuttle service, while my son (Evan) has been summoned to New York City, to have some face time with his employer.

Gary, are you getting the sodium issue back in balance?

Tod, how are you feeling?  Did you get a chance to read my critique of the 'Fog of War'?

Steve, you are an awe inspiring man.  Learning of your literary sucesses is absolutely awe inspiring.  Thank you for sharing these things,

For the rest of our dear classmates, as Pete posted here originally "don't be bashful".  Hearing from you is the whipped cream and cherry on top of the Sundae of life.

Thanks for asking me Dan. I'm trying but I'm weak as a kitten I have to watch my fluid intake and take salt pills plus I have a mountain of dr and hospital bills and the main thing is I can't have a decent bm! I have a catheter in me and that adds to everything uncomfortable..enough already!!thanks again for your attention.

My life would be much more dull, if it were not for my Jewish friend in Bolivia.  He (Mario) keeps supplying me with a lot of this stuff -- I really enjoy them. -- Dan

"Many of these are priceless even if you heard them before ðŸ˜œ

I never thought orthopedic shoes would really work for me, but I stand corrected.

Once upon a time there was a king who was only 12 inches tall. He was a terrible king, but he made a great ruler.

A Mexican magician said he will disappear on the count of 3. He says, “"Uno, dos.” Poof. He disappeared without a tres.

I wrote a book on how to fall down the stairs. It’s a step by step guide.

My son was chewing on electric cords, so I had to ground him. It’s OK, though. He’s doing better and conducting himself properly.

My friend claims that he “accidentally" glued himself to his autobiography, but I don’t believe him. But that's his story and he’s sticking to it.

An armed man ran into a real estate agency and shouted, “Nobody move.”

Got sick at work yesterday and threw up in the elevator on my way back home. It was disgusting on so many levels.

Why did the Mexican take anti-anxiety medication? For Hispanic attacks.

I asked the surgeon if I could administer my own anesthetic. He said, “Sure. Knock yourself out!”

I got into a fight today with 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9. The odds were really against me.

In Britain it’s called a lift but Americans call it an elevator. I guess we were just raised differently

97% of people are stupid. Glad I’m in the other 5%."

Thanks, Ferron.  Three of my sisters, and two daughters are blond, and they all seem to like the jokes.  My family (large family) have always been jokesters -- loving a good story.

Thanks for asking I'm finally able to sleep a little bit better and trying to get stronger. I managed a decent bm I know that's too much info but it's part of the problem with my restrictions on fluid intake. I appreciate your interest so much!

Good to hear you are on the mend, Gary -- thanks for letting us know.

Thanks Dan I HATE being down all the time. Have you heard anything about Tod Maltby?

06/04/23 08:38 PM #1413

Daniel Hutchinson

I know what you mean about being down; the feeling of helplessness is grinding on us, when our entire life has been active.

I've asked a couple of times about Tod, but nothing from him.  I sure hope he's alright.  Do you or any of our other classmates have a number for Tod? Perhaps someone could call and check on him?  If anyone has his phone number, I'd be happy to give him a call, as well.

Gary you made me think of something in reference to a BM.  Did you hear that diarrhea is hereditary?  It runs in your "jeans".

Dan, I also love your humor!! - Hey, on a serious note, here's a link that shows a brief snapshot of my PowerPoint presentation on April 28th, in San Francisco. Hope some of you will click the link, I was quite surprised at the content they chose to air to the public. Very Surprised! Please check it out...

Thanks Steve.  I opened this quite late, so will peruse it in detail tomorrow.  This is exciting.

Steve, you are a born teacher.  I only have one criticism; your You-tube presentation was/is too short.  I would sit at your knee for hours on what you've gleaned, learned over the years.  This Chiasmus is one of the most fasinating topics I've ever  heard of, related to scripture, and the ancients.  I sincerely thank you.

Most importantly, to see one of our classmates succeeding, and contributing as you have and are, is without a doubt tremendously heart warming.  I'm certainly proud of you Steve.

Not wanting to detract from the sense of awe you have instilled, I can't help but relate taking a night train from Ankara to Istanbul, Turkey.  When two of us couples (friends we traveled with) repaired to the dining car, the car porter (each car on the train had a porter) who turned down the beds, and prepared us (everyone in the car) 'chi', a tea for us to drink before retiring for the night.  I presume the name 'chi' has the same root as you mentioned in your presentation; from the Greek alphabet.  I'll check this out for comment at a later time.

I do apologize to my dear classmates for becoming too wordy, not just 'at times' but most of the time. I tend to get carried away.

Steve, aren't you impressed by all of the feedback you've received?  Tongue-in-cheek.

I still have a few things on my bucket list.

The one after this, is 'deeper' than one initially thinks.

Thanks Gary. At least that's something, our class are a bunch of dead heads.  Sad we don't have some inter-action.

Yeah guess we're just getting older. Happy Father's day. I'm getting back to normal I guess. I've lost a lot of weight

Happy Father's Day, to all of you fathers.

Gary, you didn't carry much weight to begin with, you must be skin and bone!  I am happy you are getting back your health.  I give thanks to our Father in Heaven for hearing our prayers.
