Oh my goodness, Ferron, thank you for the response.  Let us know how you're doing. So many people suffer from back issues; it's so debilitating and painful. I hope you recover soon.

A reiteration from my list posted on the 15th of May:

"It's not my age that bothers me; it's the side effects."

I sure don't want to dwell on aging and the infirmities we all experience.  I've been noting some advertisements over the past few days, I've come to a couple of conclusions, from this list:

1. Opzelura, 2. Super Beta Prostrate, 3. Dovato,
4. Balance of Nature, 5. Paxlovid, 6. Lume, 7. Xyzal, 8. Rinvoq,
9. Ingrezza, 10. Nurtec, 11. Sotyktu, 12. Omega-XL + D3,
13. Rybelsus, 14. Cabenuva, 15. Ikaria Juice,
16. Astrepro (allergy)17. Opzelura, 18. Entresto, 19. Ivivia,
20. Paxlovid, 21. Shingrix, 22. Cosentyx,  23. Linzess,
24. Ubrevly, 25. Kesimpta, 26. Farxizga, 27. Keytruda,
28. Resperate, 29. Vygart, 30. Qulipta, 31. Tezspire, 32. Kisqali, 33. Enbrel, 34. Breztri, 35. Kerasal(nail fungas), 36. Gemtesa, 37. Zeposia, 38. Zyrtec, 39. Dupixent, 40. Prilosec, 41.Skyrizi, 42. Verzenio, 43. Vraylar. 44. Polaxid,    45. Evenity, 46. Fasenra, 47. Sotyktu, 48. Gemtesa, 49. Tepezza, 50. Mounjaro,
51. Nucala.

Conclusion Nr. 1:  I'm certain after hearing all of the warnings given with these, most people would be scared to death to take them.

Conclusion Nr. 2: If one were to take all of these, there would be no need to embalm, when you die, you'd already be 99% chemical, nearly plastic anyway; then again, maybe you'd live forever.

you are right Dan no need for embalming . It's amazing how many pill doctors perscribe . They are not doctors but pill pushers . Fortunatly I only take one .

Gary Acker

Your right Ferron no need to empalm

In all fairness, there are many effective, very useful and potential life saving drugs listed.  I'm just struck at the numbers and some amusing names being employed.

I've commented to Jane after the presentation of some of these drugs, the potential dangers or side effect with them.  Again in fairness, the companies are required by the FDA to issue potential side effects and warnings, which is a good thing for the customer/patient to be aware of, if nothing more than to recognize a possible adverse reaction.

My intent aside from trying to be funny, was to simply note the huge numbers of new drugs being placed before us.  It's almost overwhelming.

Note this from the top of the page, which Pete put up there several years ago.  I'm certain there aren't many bashful classmates.  ????

Thanks for your reminder Dan it does take more than one or two for a real conversation. I'll try and do much better at giving us something more to talk about. I've been glued to the CNN coverage mostly about this "Titan" incident. I can't comprehend how people do this but thank goodness they do. We know more about the moon than our own undersea terrain. And of "Sleepy Joe " and his kid. Our vic president is such an embarrassing one I could ever imagine. I've had way too much time because of this crazy situation in my body. I have surgery on the day before my birthday because I have always tried to have a good time on that day and, hey, let's try this!!

My brother-in-law's (John Hightower) birthday is the 6th of July, he'll be 80.  Jane's only sister is married to John.  They came to visit us from Virginia, shortly after we moved here in 2017, Liz, her only sister said "why would you ever want to live in Texas", wth a few explatives added.  They were just building our sub-divsion and liked what they saw, they bought the lot right behind us.  I oversaw the construction of their house, flew up to Virginia and helped them move down here, and now we have a gate joining our back yards.

Gary,  can you tell us what you're being operated for?  I sure hope it isn't serious?

Just in case I'll wish you a happy birthday for the 7th of July, wishing you a speedy recovery.

Dan

By the way way folks I'm going into surgery on the 5th. It's a procedure called a TERP basically I get "roto rotered "to my bladder and it's not through my mouth 😤! I'll be in McKay surgical center. I thought that it's a good way to celebrate my birthday on the 7th like Lippys is. Have a good weekend Scotsman!

I'm Keeping you in my prayers, my friend.  I sure hope it's not the same tool to do the roto-ruter?  LOL

Daniel Hutchinson

I have a spot light on my flag, thus according to the rules for flying the flag, I can leave it up at night.

I wish all of you a Happy 4th of July.  Reflecting on the magnificant gift given to us, establishing our country, humbles me, thanking God for all we have, and pray for our country to remain free.

For your interest, and possible education, regarding the flag.  It's lengthy, but well worth reading.

Thanks guys it went well as far as I'm told but I'm sure uncomfortable! I have enough plumbing hanging out of me to make a plumber jealous. Sleep well because I'm probably not going to. Thanks again everyone.
