Another bit of information sent to me by Connie Ott. She told me the other day tha Madalyn Leonardi is in a care center in Bountiful. I'm not sure of her condition, but here is the info Connie provided. Perhaps, some of you might like to call and offer Madalyn some encouraging words.

Your question about MIssing Classmates depends on your definition of "Missing".

When you sign on to the website, on left hand side you will see "Missing Classmates". When you click on that you will see all those known to the website but have never entered their information - probably not what you're interested in.

The website started out with everyone whose photo was in the 1962 yearbook, and over time, a very few more have been added that went to school with that group but, didn't have their picture taken for the yearbook, dropped out, moved, etc. (i.e. Steve Grill & Ken Frew) So, presumably, the website has a complete list of the graduating class of 1962, plus a very few.

Those who have organized the last few class parties, have chosen to maintain their own list of classmate information separate from the website. So if they don't have a list of "Missing Classmates" (those not on their list) it should be easy to create one by determining who is on the website but not on their list.

For those of you who haven't heard, Linda Davis Tracy passed away 04/15/24 in Idaho. We received information that Jane Anderson passed away possibly sometime in November 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. But this has not been verified for sure because we're not sure of her married name.

Just had a very long, nice chat with Carol Sorenson --- married name is Plowman, husband Boyd. Carol Plowman.

She lives in Data Point, California. Her phone number is:909-635-8907. I don't have her email address, yet, she will text me with it, and we can add it. She's been in the commercial realestate business for several years and apparently does quite well. She said the majority of her focus is on selling, assisting in setting up bakeries, and restaurants. I'm sure there is much more to add.

Carol, said she has never been aware of any of our reunions. I told her about the forthcoming reunion for out 80th birthday on September 12, and she said she's very interested, thanking me for reaching out.

I'll post more as I get it.

For you entrepreneurs looking for a way to make a few extra bucks. Mario again.

"The kids filed back into class Monday morning. They were very excited. Their weekend assignment was to sell something, then give a talk on productive salesmanship.

Little Suzie led off: "I sold girl scout cookies and I made $30," she said proudly, "My sales approach was to appeal to the customer's civil spirit and I credit that approach for my obvious success."

"Very good," said the teacher.

Little Vicky was next: "I sold magazines," she said, "I made $45 and I explained to everyone that magazines would keep them up on current events."

"Very good, Vicky," said the teacher.

Eventually, it was Little Joey's turn. The teacher held her breath.

Little Joey walked to the front of the classroom and dumped a box full of cash on the teacher's desk. "$2,467," he said.

"$2,467!" cried the teacher, "What in the world were you selling"

"Toothbrushes," said Little Joey.

"Toothbrushes," echoed the teacher, "How could you possibly sell enough tooth brushes to make that much money?"

"I found the busiest corner in town," said Little Joey, "I set up a Dip & Chip stand, I gave everybody who walked by a free sample."

They all said the same thing, "Hey, this tastes like dog crap!"

Then I would say, "It is. Wanna buy a toothbrush?

I used the governmental approach of giving you crap for free, and then making you pay to get the bad taste out of your mouth."
