The time is almost here! 50 YEARS! It boggles my mind!
In 1974 gas was $0.53/gallon, currently it is around $3.20 per gallon.
The Super Bowl VIII Champions were the Miami Dolphins.
The World Series winner was the Oakland Athletics.
And the music, well we had the best music.

A lot of changes have taken place in Lone Oak since 1974:

Lone Oak Elementary is Pre K-3 
Lone Oak Intermediate is grades 4- 5 and located in “our” old high school
Lone Oak Middle School is 6 - 8 in a brand new building on Bleich Road
Lone Oak High School no longer exists, we have a consolidated county school.

We will have hors d’oeuvre with a cash bar, iced tea, sweet and unsweetened, and lemonade. This venue has indoor and outdoor options and is on ground level. The 1857 is a hotel and has rooms that you might want to check on if you are coming from out of town and looking for a place to stay.

Saturday night September 21, 2024: 

Walker Hall Events Center
6:00 - 11:00 PM
229 Madison Street
Paducah, KY 42001

We will have a very nice full sit down meal with a cash bar. This venue is ground level also. Coffee, tea, soda and water will be served. Both venues are located in the downtown Paducah area. In addition to the 1857 hotel, there is the Holiday Inn Paducah Riverfront, 600 North Fourth Street, Paducah, KY 42001, Tel: 270-366-7614.

The Price for both events is $150 per couple or $100 per person. You may make payment to Donna Thompson, 4340 Contest Road, Paducah, KY 42001. Payment requested by August 15th.

It's hard to believe it's been 45 years since we left LOHS!

Here are the Reunion details, we hope EVERYONE can make it!

Buffet dinner will be served at 6:00 pm
Cash Bar available

Holiday Inn has set aside a block of rooms if you need a room.

There will be a DJ playing our old favorites, and room to dance!
