I am going to try to make the new year one of the best,and hope and pray that the best is what the rest of our PHS classmates get as well. We have all become a family, and I kind of look at it as if we have all been given a second chance to reconnect with each other and be there for one another. Not many classmates can say that, and I think that our class has become very special because of that. Everyone, thank you for all of your contributions to Becki's flowers. I am sorry if I offended anyone, but it's important for me to keep myself entertained. I want to thank Mirtha for all of the fun excursions she provided for us Pirates. Also, Donna & Linda for their parties. I hope to see more Pirates next year.

Hope it all works out and that the Pirates have a wonderful flower arrangement for Becki. I got a letter from her sister on FB the other day, it was nice to hear from one of her family members. Our Pirates friends and families have been through a lot with the economic situation that plagued 2009, families that went through hardships. Families that endured the loss of family members/friends/and not to forget our fellow pirates who have passed. Through all our most difficult times we Pirates still united as one. I would like to thank all of you for your kind words, thoughts and expressions through the most difficult 2009 in my sisters and my lives. I can't tell you enough how much it meant to all of us. THANK YOU for your love and support. 2010 has already been a positive one as we are planning our daughter's wedding in May. May is also a great month as Maurene's son Kevin is expecting the birth of his first child - a son (Hayden Joe Millard). Sending love and peace to all. Lorene

With the money that I have gotten and the money still in the mail we should have a very nice arrangement. I did talk with the florist and gave them some idea as to what was wanted. I will finalize the arrangement first thing in the morning. Peggy, Stu, Stan and I will be going to the open house tomorrow afternoon. If there is any money left over I will give to Carol to add to the reunion fund. Is this OK with everyone that is contributing?

I'm good with what ever anyone else wants to do with the left over cash, you could even give it to Becki's husband Bob to help with the medical bills if you think that would be appropriate. They loved the flowers and they were beautiful, Marianna did a wonderful job on the flowers. No way to explaind the beauty. You could see how Becki was truely loved by everyone. Becki was a real sweetheart. She will surely be missed. I really enjoyed catching up with Becki over the past few years when we were getting the 40 year reunion going, and her living here in town we talked about so many things from our school years. Again, I will miss not talking to her. Peggy

Been busy going to a Bridal Expo with my daughter, lining up a photographer, flowers, DJ and a limo. I think that we are going to need someone to marry them at the Embassy Suites as her Maid of Honor and her husband are separating - he was going to marry Trent & April. One more thing to get now. Went through this with my son, but not to the extent that my daughter wants. Think I will need a vacation after this is completed. LOL Just checking in on the forum.
