Hey Classmates

i was reading the message board, read my post 8/29, the house didn't close for the first folks it went to second and they had found a new place. We were to be leaving soon with our big plans.....guess God had other plans. As I ended up very sick and in the hospital for 4 days. I was told I was so sick thatnI had hit a point with this kidney infection where many people don't go back home. 

Its hard to plan the next day sometimes, but wanted you to know all of you who were at the Vegas party I was ther in a way too. I was so sick I could barley lift the phone or find it, laying in that hospital bed  feeling so horrible and all of a sudden somewhere I hear my phe and try to reach for it to answer somehow it did but no longer in my hand, I lay there hearing Laurene and Maurene Lynne where are you we want you to be her, in the background all of your voices of many wonderful special people of my life....it was pretty special. Lets all remember to be thankful for each and every day we are given.

Good Day Everyone!

Well, I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new grandson Luke Alan Jackson. My daughter April is expecting any day any time and grandma just can't wait. You would think this was my first grandchild, I am so anxious. I can't sleep at night, toss and turn. My daughter lives in Beaumont and I worry about her being so far away from the hospital as she will deliver at the Kaiser Hospital in Riverside. I am all ready to get my two year old granddaughter Abbey whom I adore as I do with all of the grandkids, its just that the little ones are so darn cute. It has been amazing to have the other three grandkids at 17, 14 and 12 all from my son Roland Jr. I really enjoyed watching them go up so fast and now to be able to have these two little ones is a treasurer. Lynne you know you see all our comments on facebook.

Just thought I would check in. I was hopping to have a mini reunion at my house after the completion of the work. But the work has not started yet. Soon I hope - I want the back yard to be tropical around the pool and ad a fish pond where the bird house was. Trust me I will be off for 3 weeks in December and one week at Thanksgiving. Things will start happening at that time. Well when it is done, I will invite everyone over again.

Maurene is doing much better. I've been working at the ranch again. We are going to put it back up on the market. Please pray that it sells fast for my mom. I love the place dearly and love the serentiy of it, but it is time to let it go.

Oh, I will be at Bolsa Chica State Beach at site 54 if anyone would like to stop by this coming Friday to Monday. We are planning to take our bikes for a ride along the beach too.  Well, that is also is providing that I don't get called away on baby watch, cause you know where I will want to be, right by April's side.

Hi Daryl,

It, is so nice to see you on our PHS site. It has been an amazing tool to keep in touch with classmates near and far. I am sure you will get a kick out of it if you start from the very beginning. It sure was fun during the planning of our 40th reunion. Phyllis White-Aldana did am amazing job building the site and keeping it going.

Does anyone still have their class ring who could post a picture of it? This is rrally important to me because I lost my ring. There is a chance that someone has it and that I might be able to get it back if I can get a good description of it. Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give.

Joanne Hughes' family gave me her class ring after she passed away, I will try and take a picture of it for you and post it on FB. I can post on FB from my phone so much easier than trying to do it here.

I just wanted to let some of you know that were close to Joanne Hughes and her family, that Mrs. Aggie Hughes passed away the day before yesterday.  I believe Billie had been in contact with her at one time.

She was 94, and has been very ill for a long time. She is at peace now!

Hi Classmates,

Some of you have been asking on Facebook why I am using my maiden name, NO I did not get a divorce.

Lol, as a matter of fact we will celebrate 45 years in Feb.

As many of you may remember, I did a ride along with my son the police officer in 2008. He was involved in a shooting,and I guess you could say Mom was too when I thought he was shot, I got the shot gun out of the police car and heald it on the bad guy. Long story short, when we went to court and had to testify before this scum bag, the Judge made several stipulations regarding his sentencing.

He is still in prison, I received a letter from the Dept. of Corrections requesting an update

of all of my information. I am in a witness protection program, but not like you see on the TV shows. They just notify me each time he is moved to another location, or if he gets early release. So, my son felt it would be best to not have my real name on FB, these guys will stop at nothing to try and trace an officer down and do anything they can to destroy their lives. (Not all, but it only takes one and we are not taking any chances)

HOPE EVERYONE HAS HAD A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING, AND WILL HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Daryl Frost, I hope you have been able to reconnect with your friends.  If you did not find who you were looking for in the class list, contact me via message and I will see what I can do to help you.  I have a pretty good track record of finding people.  I guess those 25 years I spent as a claim rep with Allstate and doing investigations has helped me to gain that expertise.

Carol, I knew you still had your ring, but I didn't know that I needed to have a photos of it when we were there  a few weeks ago.  We had a great time at your place, by the way. Wish we had had more time to spend with you.  Marianna was anxious to get home, She was gone from home for 2 weeks and I know Stan was glad to have her back at home.

Lorene, even though I don't live in you area any longer, I would definite;y make an effort to get there when you have another get together.  We had such a great time at your place the last time.  You are a wonderful hostess.  I will plan on coming.  My daughter lives in Corona, so I would have a place to stay.  And gosh I could go by my old place of employment and see all those people I spent 25 years with.  Tthey became like family to me.  I sure miss my work family.
