Class of 1961
Bob Kenney passed away in his sleep from a heart attack in October 1999. He was so special and loved by so many of the Orly kids, especially me. (Joan JORDEN Imus)
Bob played left tackle to Rick Adams' left guard, while Foxworth and I held down the other side of the line on both offense and defense. (Dick Williams)

Erich Ponde (1962)
I always had a Hard Time against Bob at Practice, He was a Great Guy and I am sad to hear that He had died!
James Atkins (1962)
So sorry to learn that Bob passed away. He and I both played on the PAHS football team together; he was the left guard and I was the center. We had some great times together...
Pete Hidalgo (1961)
Bob and I had a bet on who could draw first blood in each game, beer of course. After our first play in the first game,he came back to the huddle with a big grin. I looked over my shoulder to see his opponent adjusting his mouthpiece. I bought him the six pack and tried to figure out a new bet! He was a great friend and teammate.
Joan Jorden (Imus) (1962)
Bob and I were close friends and went "steady" my sophomore year; Bob was a junior that year. He wasn't the most handsome guy at school, but he had a heart as big as the world. He was fun, a loyal friend, a big brother to many and a great kisser!
When I returned to the States, Sgt Kenney was stationed at McGuire AFB and Bob was there to greet me. We spent some special time together with Linda (Dunnick) and Kyle Williams. Linda was on her way back to Paris from vacation with her family. Kyle lived somewhere near McGuire. After that, we lost contact.
When I was an Army wife, we were stationed at Fort Dix. I looked up Sgt & Mrs Kenney in the Mount Holly phone book and they were there! They put me back in touch with Bob. Bob married a great gal named Elanore and had 4 or 5 kids.
We kept in touch after that and visited as often as we could. I lived near Allentown, PA, for many years and Bob, his family, me and my family would get together now and then. He never changed. Still the fun-loving guy we all knew in Paris.
It's been about 12 years since Bob passed away and I still miss him very much. I'll always love you, Bob.
