I am very saddened to see Mark's name here. In addition to being a good friend (1960-62) his autograph in my 1962 yearbook was the funniest of them all. He ruined a perfectly good photo of a wide Paris street scene by putting an arrow by his name that pointed to a tiny, totally undecipherable person walking along the Seine.

He was a good friend and I am sorry that he is not here today to share that story with me.

Indeed Mark Fritz is missed. I too have the same arrow ruining a perfectly good picture. Mark & I toured Florida Keys in 63 after I returned to States. Saw Sue DeLa Mater in St. Pete, and all went to see the Birds in his two seat MG.

Have I got more stories, Yes! It was great being a friend of Marks 60-62. Sorry I missed him at his last reunion. And Oh! The Motorbikes & Beer.

Mike Wisniewski (1961)

I was one of Mark's numerous friends in Paris.  We had many good times there that I will cherish.  Although life and careers separated us for many years, we had the good fortune to meet again at a reunion held in Washington, D.C.  It was then that Mark confided in me that he was terminally ill.  It was not long after the reunion that, sadly, he passed away.  We will meet again, my friend.
