James Kiger (1972) VIEW PROFILE

My younger brother James Kiger passed away from surgical complications on October 20 2021 In Knoxville Tennessee. He loved his youthful experience in France and spoke of it often in his later years. He is missed by family and friends for his storytelling and the joy of good food and family. Peace dear brother. Butch Kiger.

James K. Kiger Sr., age 67, of Madisonville, Tn. passed away at 4:47 P.M. Wednesday, October 20, 2021.  Born March 6, 1954, to the late Eugene C. Kiger Jr. and Betty Kiger.  He loved music, playing guitar, riding a motorcycle, Tennessee football, and most of all, his only grandchild, Conner.  For many years, he worked for FDIC and then transitioned to RTC (Resolution Trust Co.) where he made many lifelong friends.  He meant so much to so many people.  

Survivors, sons & daughter-in-law, James Jr. & Jami Kiger, Christopher Kiger, Grandson, Conner Kiger, all of Madisonville, TN, Brother & sister-in-law, Eugene (Butch) III & June Kiger, Inglis, Fla., Sister & brother-in-law, Cissy K., and Lance Laurence, Dandridge, TN., Nieces & spouses, Margaret (Meg) & Brandon Miller, Charleston, SC, Darla & Josh Patterson, Tryon, NC, Nephew, Kin Kiger, Tryon, NC. 

Due to the uncertainty of Covid - 19, he did not feel comfortable at large gatherings during these times, and therefore keeping his thoughts in mind, we are delaying any memorial service at this time.  Arrangements by Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
