Served my mission in the Wisconsin Milwaukee Mission; earned a BS from BYU in Construction Management; MS from New York University in Real Estate Investment and Development; designated as a MAI (Member of the Appraisal Institute) and CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member). Blessed with one wife and five great kids. We've have three grandchildren. Enjoyed designing and building custom homes. Built three homes in the Utah Valley Home show. Chaired "Alpine Days" city celebration in 2003. Love traveling with friends and family. Active physically; ran over 35 marathons; now competing in full and half Ironmans; competed in my first ultra-marathon in March of 2018. Been heavily involved in scouting, emergency prepardness, and constitutional studies. Assisted over a 100 scout in obtaining their Eagle Rank. Appraised land developments and subdivisions across the country for pension funds, insurance compaines, and investment banks. Been a Principal Real Estate Broker for over 30 years. I now work for Flagship Homes entitling master planned communities in Utah and Idaho. Our high-profile development is redeveloping the old Geneva Steel Mill site into the most revolutionary city design in Utah. We just broke ground for our first vertical construction in June. A personal development project is 900 acres surrounding the old Sherwood Hills Resort on both sides of the highway in Sardine Canyon (between Brigham City and Logan). We'll be developing the property into a 130 lot equestrian community. Life is good!

Other than forgetting my third point in my student body election campaign speech in front of the student body, I would say it was the “C-Wing fight” with Ronny Stanger. As best as I can remember, I was being stupid to him and he didn’t like it much. Unknown to me he was an award winning Golden Glove boxer and decided he had had enough. Within seconds I was in unfamiliar physical condition. However, as strong and macho as I was, I embraced him and contained his artful shredding of my face. I then picked him up high enough to stuff him into the red donut lid garage can butt first upon which he ceased his fury. As Ronny was trying to get out of the garbage can the next class bell rang. Fortunately, he was accustomed to going to his corner with the sound of the bell. To this day I have not messed with Ronny Stanger, and recommend you don't either!
