60 years later, and Priscilla and Al are still together- and we look the same today as we did in the period of 1962 to 1966 at the Rady Schell in San Diego for performance of Wynton Marsalis and Jazz at the Lincoln Center. While we are still together, I should note that she is happily married and I’m gay, having lost my husband of 26 years 4 years ago in August. I’m ready to date again, so feel free to send me recommendations for blind dates!!!!! Al Jones and Priscilla Gregory

From Greg Woods------
Greetings, Survivors:
50 years? Seems like just yesterday. As they say, time flies, or words to that effect. In any case, 50 years is a lot of time for water to pass under the bridge – so here goes:
Graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cal Poly, Pomona. After 2 or 3 years working as a bureaucrat with the LA Dept of Water & Power I headed for W. Germany (at that time) and studied a bit of Deutsch in Radolfzell am Bodensee. Six months and I was ready – got a position with Brown, Bovari in Mannheim, designing power plants.
Made friends mostly with escaped Czechs (pivo, anyone?) and found out that LA had no monopoly on bureaucracies. Off to Geneva to learn a bit of Frog, n’est pas? Well, that was my down-coming. I met a Colombian gal who was vacationing there. Packed up the bags and off to Bogota.
To make a long story short, we got married, had a girl child, and moved to the States, where I got a job working in Saudi Arabia. As-salamu alaykum, as they say in that sandy and oily kingdom by the sea. About 15 years, working for another bureaucracy. Another girl child in the meantime. Got to travel a lot, when not polluting our planet. 15 years was enough.
Colombia at that time was a bit rough, so we went to Costa Rica. 15 years or so, doing a bit of everything, including a flower plantation – heliconias and gingers.
Well, to make a long story short, I didn’t last long with the marriage. Parts of my story I shouldn’t tell. Finally, got back to Colombia, returned to Costa Rica, and then back to Colombia, where you can find me now, in the great little city of Villavicencio, between the Andes and the Amazon.
Where I am going to live, happily ever after with my wife, Gloria, who is simply glorious. My two daughters, both born in Bogota, will be visiting me in December. So Merry Christmas to one and all.
