I was so shocked and saddened to see that Robin had passed away. She was one of the sweetest girls I ever knew and although we lost touch over the years, I always had hoped to see her at one of the reunions. Unfortunately, I never did. I have fond memories of our times together, and one summer in particular, when her best friends from Bellevue Washington came down to visit. She was as beautiful a person inside as out, and I will forever regret not being more persistent in reaching out to her. Rest in peace, Robin.
I got to know Robin better years after we graduated from RHS. As fate would have it, she worked with my wife, Cookie, as an instructional assistant at RHS in a Special Education class for handicapped students for several years. Our eldest son was also good friends with Robin and Harold's daughter, Kelly, in school. Cookie and I went out to dinner on several occasions with them and some mutual frlends. Robin was very sweet, enjoyed knowing our family, and was very devoted to her own. She fought her illness with all she had, maintaining a positive attitude and faith that her life was in God's hands. She was interested in our class reunions and I encouraged her to attend, but she felt that no one would remember her. It was that certain shyness, I felt that she had, that kept her away. She was a beautiful lady, a special family friend, and we will all miss her greatly. Rest in peace, Robin...Our dear Lord has you now and your pain is gone.
Very sorry to hear about Robins passing.she was a very sweet and happy person. We had some fun times during our sophomore year, along eith sharon preston and Rick Gonzales. Running around town and cruising 'E' street. My condolences to her family.
