Chuckie Barsotti and I went to Lincoln Elementary together, as well as McKinley and Sequoia. He lived across the street from me. He passed away after a bike accident over in Berkeley, where he was going to school. He was always such a nice young man, and is still missed.
Chuck was a great and fun guy to have on our track team. He had a funny sense of humor, which always made me laugh. I looked forward to seeing him out on the track field everyday. We were on the C Track team my Freshman and Sophmore years. Strangely, I can still hear the odd chuckle he had on his laugh, that made others laugh.
