Janice was one of the sweetest persons I knew in River. She cared about people and was interested in them. I returned from Viet Nam after two tours, when I saw her she asked how I was, stuck with me that "anyone" at that time cared.

Reid, to answer your question, I was on the flight crew officially and flew "right seat" a lot. Our regular co-pilot many days was not in condition to fly but the pilot needed help as there was no auto-pilot. It was very easy to fly though.
You know I miss those days of being able to hop on a flight and have the pilot put you on the manifest. I can still do space A travel but there are so many times you will get bumped that we don't.
I did a total of 28 years with the Air Force and enjoyed most of it.
Jim, my wife and I were in Rocky River last fall. Bearden's although changed, still has a lot of memories for all of us. The train still runs!
Glad you have had so many good life experiences, they sound like most were either interesting or fun.
