Mike - Thank you for the invite.  As much as I love golf, my days of playing 18 holes are over, due to chronic back problems.  I will never forget our win a couple of years ago and that handsome blue outfit you wore.

We had a lovely visit with Kathy Poeppe and Mary Mach and our respective husbands when Kathy was in   town.  After a tasty dinner, Mary invited us to her house for cake and coffee and we enjoyed reminiscing about the "olden days."  Thank you, Kathy and Mary and husbands for making time for us and for your lovely hospitality.  Cheryll

If so, I'm impressed.  (I thought maybe you were using classified Marine codes that we needed to de-code in order to comprehend, and I was feeling extremely stupid because I couldn't crack the code!). Hello,all! 

I've been lurking on the fringes for a long time without contributing.  Didnt have anything to add to what was already being said.

But, this morning I got back home from yesterday's debacle in Spartan Stadium.  While I was there, I bought a souvenior cup of soda to drown my sorrows (nothing else available to the "cheap seats").  I took a close look at the cup as I was unloading the car.  The cup features a wrap around photo of the 1966 National Championship football team.  There, front and center, just a couple of spots to Head Coach Duffy Daugherty's right, is Chuck Lowther, #24. I thought everybody would like to see it.

May he rest in peace!
