Comments:

I had so much fun at the reunion. I was so glad to see everyone. I'm sorry if I did not recocgnise some of the guys.

School Story:

One of the biggest regrets of my life was leaving high school after my Junior year. I never felt like I fit in at San Carlos High, never part of what was going on, always looking in from the outside. I did enjoy being part of B'nai B'rith Girls and AZA boys. Most of those people went to other schools or were in the class of '68. I did go to most of the football & basketball games and Friday dances were my favorite. I remember dances with Art Klein's band and a few with Tom Kirvin's (class of '68) his brother Rick was in our class.

The teacher who had the most positive impact on me at San Carlos High:

Mrs. Burgess, didn't hurt that I knew her for most of my life. Even dated her son, David.

My favorite subjects in high school were...

Social Studies, US History. I am still into politics and current events, I guess you could call me a news junky.

Some of my best friends in high school (and what I liked most about them):

My best friend was Pat Dally, but I always felt like a 3rd wheel to her and Eddie Williams. Funny thing is later we moved to Sutter Creek, CA and our kids played soccer together in high school.

Some of the most meaningful events or experiences that have occurred in my life since graduating from SCHS include...

Running into Brent Dyke at the Peanut Farm in 1972. That conversation really changed the way I feel about myself. Thank you for finally giving me the self esteme I had been missing up to that point in my life. I will forever be grateful to you.

Given the opportunity to collaborate with other classmates for professional reasons or just for fun, what kind of talents, skills, and abilities (that are enjoyable for you) could you offer?

I would love to get together with Dr. Allen Frankel and compare notes on our two Medical practices.

The scariest moment of my life since graduating from SCHS was when...

The day before my 33rd birthday I had emergency back surgery. They found a piece of disc fragment the size of a dime in my spinal cord. They told me if I had waited another few days I would be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life.
A few years later the week before my 44th birthday I fell on a patch of ice and broke my leg and ankle. I ended up in that wheelchair, but it was only for 6 weeks. I made a great recovery.
I was dreading my 55th birthday, what would come next? Turns out my new husband of only 6 months had 4 heart stents the day before my birthday. The Doctors said he could have dropped dead just walking down the street, or worse yet during sex or on our honeymoon.
After that back surgery I had in 1984 I was told that I would most likely be back in the hospital for a fusion in the next 12 years. Well it will be 31 years next month and I just had a double fusion or cages with full disk replacement. I am healing nicely and feel great!

The best words and phrases to describe who I am these days are:

A confident, loving, professional person. But my husband sums it all up as I am just a very nice person.

The things I am most passionate about these days include...

My husband, children & grandchildren. I also love to cook and decorate.

Tell us about your driving tickets: the funniest, the most severe, the one you should have been given but didn't (and how you got out of it), and so on...

When I lived in Colorado the elevation between Woodland Park and Colorado Spring was about 2,000 ft in 8 miles. Everyone would just coast down the hill. One day I got stopped for speeding and when the officer asked me why I was going so fast I answered "gravity." Never saw anyone write a ticket so fast.

What I think about this web site, and what I think would make it even better:

I Love what you have done, Kevin. Thank you so much. The reason I finally decide to attend this reunion was this web site and facebook.

I remember we use to all carpool to school our junior year with Bob Aaron in his little white Corvair. He use to wear so much cologne that you all use to make fun of us. We use to hang with Eddie White and Pat Daly. Well I married Bob we had a son, Michael , he is now 44 and we divorced shortly thereafter. He was very abusive. We both remarried for more than 25 years to other people. We both ended up in Arizona. Bob died a few years ago of a heart valve problem, he never made it to 60. I spoke to Eddie a few years ago, he is living in Southern California. Pat is married to a guy I went to kindergarten with at Roosevelt Elementary, she won't walk to me, not sure why. Our kids went to school together in Sutter Creek, CA. That's about all that is not mentioned in my Bio. By the way, you are one of the few people I was curious about how you are now.

My 8th Birthday, standing My cousin Nina on the left, she graduated from Woodside. Cindy Meadows is standing on the right. That is me in the middle on the bottom. Not sure who the others are, they went to Roosevelt and Sequoia. That's Cindy's house in the background.
