Tell us about your grandchildren (if you have any!)
Five grand children. Natalie age 5, Charlotte age 4, Audrey age 3, Hunter age 18 months and James just three months old. The Nill/Lazar kids have been busy over the last five years.
I worked in Vocational Rehabilitation for 18 years. Teaching at the high school level is a second career. Married in 1974. Would still be married to Jeanette but she passed away three years ago.
Graduated college in "73, "74 and "76. Worked in vocational rehabilitation and taught special education in high school. Raised a great family with my lovely wife. Retired in 2013. After tending to my wife while she was ill I started traveling. I've been to Italy, Greece, the Aegean Sea, and Egypt. On my way to China. The plane leaves tonight. Also, have taken family vacations with my children and there families.
Some of my best friends in high school (and what I liked most about them):
Paul Babwin, Chris Bohl, Joe Rice, John Feyling. They were all good guys to hang out with. A mention to my college roommate, Charlie Challstrom as well. I am still in contact with all of them.
Countries (and cities) I have visited since graduating include:
Canada, Mexico, England, France, Germany, Lichtenstein, Austria. Also been to 47 of the 50 United States. Just visited Italy, Great Britain, Greece, Aegean Sea and Egypt in the last year. On my way to China.
Some of the most memorable/fun/funny/important things I've done since graduating include:
All of my kids sporting and Indian Guides experiences. I also coached their soccer teams for 12 years. Becoming a world traveler over the last year is pretty neat. Two of those trips were taken with classmate Joe Rice.
Tell us about your driving tickets: the funniest, the most severe, the one you should have been given but didn't (and how you got out of it), and so on...
I drive to fast and get caught every now and then.
