Rest in Peace my dear friend.

Roberta's sister posted this and allowed me to share.

Tonight my heart is broken as my sister Tina, brother Peter and I say goodbye to our sister Roberta, cancer took her from us in about 8 weeks.  She was my sister "twin" as every photo of me growing up has Roberta by my side wearing the same clothes my mom made for us.  We fought like sisters and we loved like sisters.  Her greatest joy was being a mom to Robyn and Scott and was blessed to be married to a wonderful man Randy.  Her grandkids called her Grammy.  She grew crazy pumpkins and giant sunflowers.... Now we are three and we will miss her terribly!  I hope she and my dad are having a wonderful reunion in heaven while enjoying a giant ice cream sundae with all the trimmings.

Sad news. Thoughts and prayers to her family for their loss.

Roberta was a kind and caring friend to me while I was an exchange student at SPHS in 1972-73. She had a happy sense of humour and a cheerful smile. I called to see her and we had a happy afternoon together when I went to our 40 year reunion in 2013. We had email correspondence too. I only wish it had been more often, especially now she has gone. I will always remember her thoughtfulness and the many yummy ice creams we shared together.

When I think of the 'laughter' in high school, it usually included a lunch-time gathering out side of the math classrooms.  Roberta was a part of this group and she often offered a quick laugh and quiet expressions. Through the years we have been neighbors in town, often sharing brief emails...most often about our kids that were in high school together.  She hosted parties of her 'girl-pals' over the years and on occasion I felt their joy at being together, by a doorbell ring, laughter, a screeching of tires... and a roll of toilet paper on my doorstep with writing on the 'sheets' saying: Keith, please enjoy the TP-ing of your house.  We are too old and tired, so you'll have to do it yourself.  I feel so fortunate to have been invited to dinner at Twoheys and witness and feel the warmth of her laughter.  Thank you, Roberta, for bringing us Fosselman's ice cream to so many reunions.  I will miss you.  xoK

I second everything Lindy and Keith said. She would have easily made anyone's short list of nicest girls. Her modesty and kindness despite having a Dad who owned the coolest business in town was notable. And yes, she loved to laugh even if quietly. I wish we all had the chance to tell her before she passed how loved and respected she was.Hopefully she knew. Or knows

I will always miss my fun and fabulous friend!  She brought out the best in me, but liked the fact that I was often a bad influence on her. ;) She had a beautiful life with a tremendously loving family, and as far as I know, no regrets. I just wish she could have been in my life a lot longer!  Rest in Peace my sweet Roberta.  Wishing all my fellow Tigers good health!!!!!!!

So very sad to lose another Tiger. Another angel to watch over friends and family. Gone too soon.

My sincere condolences to Roberta’s family and to her dear friends who will miss her. I remember her as a modest, kind member of our Tiger family.

This has been so hard to write.  It is so surreal.  She is still here, but her body is not.

Roberta was/is unique.  I loved our honest conversations and her willingness to say what she wanted and did not want. . . .  Her unabashed forthrightness, her laugh, her stubbornness, her shyness.  She had so much love to give, and it was a delight when I saw/felt her surprise in receivng it.  Roberta was/is a beautiful and interesting light.  xoxoxoxoxo

Roberta was such a special person. She was a faithful and loving friend.

I still see her in  her knee socks and saddle shoes! She was always so full of wit and smiles.

Many happy memories include her.   It is such a precious thing to share our history.

I will always be grateful to have been her friend. 🌺🌺🌺
