Comments:

College, grad school, USAF, grad school, United Airlines, 911, furlough, more USAF…mostly in the middle east.

Married to a marathon running Southern girl. Happy husband, happy father of Emmeline McKenzie Miller, a 2.5 year old energy ball. (Yep, you read that right. She's two!)

Retired USAF, more United Airlines, another furlough.

Now after 23 years of flying, I'm writing technical stuff about flying. Curriculum, courseware development, and the design of the buildings that military flight training takes place in are all part of a normal day.

Turns out it’s easier to cover thirty years than I first thought.

School Story:

Thirty years since I stepped foot in Sunburst and into the class of 79’. As a transplant from Oregon between my sophomore and junior year, I was at a disadvantage.

But, the cold hard truth is I really enjoyed my short time at NTCHS and two summers working on local farms driving big old Versatile tractors…thanks Dick Dunk. Driving to school in -40 temperatures, and snowmobiling through town were experiences I never had in Oregon.

I credit the rigorous scholastic program and Tracy’s academic prowess for an easier transition to college and grad school. Oregon schools were substandard compared to Sunburst…Thanks.

ps-I also loved the lunch program.
