Comments:

I married a wonderful guy, Dick Curtis. Dick was Athletic Director for Lake Oswego High School in the Portland area for almost 30 years. I taught school, Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 4th grade for several years. I also was a realtor in Lake Oswego for several years. I finished my career by supervising student teachers at Portland State University, and Lewis & Clark College. We are both retired, now, and enjoying traveling and golf. We live on a golf course in Boise, Idaho, so can play often. (Doesn't seem to help my game!) We love to travel and spend time with our children and grandchildren. We now have been married almost 53 years…and still enjoy each other!!

School Story:

Several of us used to walk up to the high school to play in the high school band. I remember once when the director (can't recall his name!) asked if anyone had practiced the preceding night. He was a little disturbed that practice had gone so poorly. I raised my hand, and he immediately summoned me to first chair. I was mortified! But let me tell you this....I kept practicing like a wild woman! I have wonderful memories of Sunburst and the friends I would like to re-connect with. We left at the end of my 8th grade year, but my memories will last me all through life.
