In Memory

Deni Lawrence (Pittman) - Class Of 1967

Deni Kay White-Pittman, 73, left us peacefully January 16th, 2022, at her home in Burlington.  She was preceded in death by her loving husband David, whom she shared a remarkable, loving marriage in Vancouver, WA.   Deni had many hats that she wore, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend.  She embraced all of them with energy and excitement.  An avid card player, she and David would enter and often win local poker tournaments in the Vancouver/Portland area, she was affectionately known to the other players as "The Wrecking Ball".  She wore that badge with pride.

A Montana native, Deni loved the outdoors; camping and sightseeing the wonders of nature with her two beautiful children that she was blessed with.  Deni and her first husband saw the need and had the desire for children and were able to welcome both of their children into their lives through the gift and grace of adoption.

Throughout Deni's life, she held several careers, while in Libby, MT, she was a bookkeeper and office manager for a local mechanic shop.  As life happens Deni found herself surrounded by brothers and a sister and other family members in Washington state.  There, she worked for many years in Anacortes at the Eagles Club on the weekends, and as the store manager for A&H Hallmark both in Bellingham and Yakima.

You always knew where you stood with Deni, she would give a look that didn’t need any accompanying words, you just knew. Deni will be missed by her family and numerous friends with fond and loving memories.

Deni is survived by her two children Jodi Michelle of Montana, Tracy Jade of Anacortes, two brothers, Brett and Bart Moody of Montana and her sister and dear friend Robbi of Anacortes. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

Arrangements are in the care of Evans Funeral Chapel & Onsite Crematory Inc.  To share memories of Deni, please sign the online guestbook at www.evanschapel.com
