Jerry Kelleher - Class Of 1951 VIEW PROFILE

Jerry B. Kelleher, 79, a lifelong Sweet Grass area farmer, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2013, at the Marias Care Center. Memorial mass is 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Sunburst. Burial with military honors will follow in the Sunburst Cemetery. Whitted Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Jerry was born February 8, 1934, on the family farm near Sweet Grass to Maurice and Ethel (Brown) Kelleher. After graduating from high school he served with the US Army. He returned home where he farmed his entire life.

He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church and enjoyed surveying the crops from his 4-wheeler. He enjoyed visiting with friends as well as going for drives through the countryside.

Jerry is survived by a sister, Marion (Don) Gibson of Mt. Vernon WA; nieces Connie (Terry) Alme of Oilmont, Maria (Dean) Moldenhauer of Mt. Vernon, WA, Donna (Phil) Teas of Mandeville LA, Coleen (Paul) Fredericks of Kenmore WA; nephew Chuck (Teresa) Kelleher of Shelby; and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Maurice (Ike) and Charles Kelleher.
