Yes! Attending Reunion

When I retired from nursing, I thought I would take up quilting and bought a sewing machine. A couple weeks later I discovered live blues music and next thing I knew I was President of the Madison Blues Society and coordinating a couple of large all-day festivals. I'm still very involved with blues music, going to festivals, and dancing several nights a week. I am happy that I have traveled to many countries, as I wanted to do long ago.
Last Christmas a book I wrote came out for sale. It is a biography of one of my grandmothers who homesteaded north of Cut Bank. The book, The Unknown Life of Anna Lozing, is 15.00 and is currently available through me.

School Story:

The best thing I think of from high school is band. I am still amazed at how Mort got a bunch of country kids to sound so good that we won awards. Remember the great halftime programs we put on during basketball games? It's amazing that we were chosen to be the Honor Band at the Portland Rose Festival. Almost every person in our entire high school was involved. Band taught me that a group of people who don't start out with skills can learn, work together, and accomplish almost anything. I also learned that with a lot of hard work and practice that I could personally excel, playing solos etc. Those lessons have stayed with me in other aspects of life. I thank Mr. Mauritson who produced what I think was a big miracle in my life.
