Kathy Gottfried (Johnson) (1974)

Gib was my like my second dad. He and Eloise were part of our lives from the time we were born. I always loved going to their house. They had the coolest basement and when they got the chinchilla's it was even all the more. Every now and again I'd babysit Glen and Gail McAlpine at Gib and Eloise's. He always called me Sweetheat and had a smile and a hug for me. When we moved to town I missed seeing them. Our visits were'nt quite as frequent. There are so many wonderful memories of this special man, too many to write. Love always. Kathy

"Gib" was by far the most important man in my life.  He helped me get on my feet after Danny died, helped me with the farm, my kids Glenn and Gail and was always there for a hug, a word of encouragement and a happy smile.  He was my rock.

It has been 10 years since he passed away and there is still not a day that goes by that I don't think of him and miss him.  I love you my little Daddy.  Your daughter, Nancy Chris

Grover Cunningham (1939)

Me, Grover Cunningham.  Gib used to stay at our house during times of inclement weather.  He was a great guy.  I worked harvest with him a couple of times.  I am the only Sunburst Cunningham left. Heading for 93.
